Subject: New Moon ✨ Exclusive Offer ✨ As Above, So Below ✨Your Daily Forecast & More💫

Dear Stargazers,

The energy of this week's Taurus new moon has the potential to show you some money, and while it may not bring you a fortune, its energy can still help you expand your net worth.

Overall, this is a good week with little cosmic push back, and it's all below, along with an astrology update that demonstrates how planetary aspects can manifest in the real world PLUS you'll find an exclusive offer just for you at the bottom of this newsletter.

DAILY ASTROLOGY FORECAST
May 6 - 12, 2024
All dates and times are given in EDT.

Monday, May 6

If you want to initiate a new project, pitch an idea, apply for a leadership position or promote yourself in any way, you're in luck because the transiting Aries Moon will help you hit the ground running.

However, once the transiting Moon goes void (1:58 PM - 5:43 PM), it's time to switch gears because this time is best used for routine matters rather than those that require a definite outcome.

At 5:43 PM, the transiting Moon enters Taurus and a placid a more placid influence rules the night.

Tuesday, May 7

Whether today's objective is to finish a project, impress a higher up, reorganize your work flow or set new goals, you can count on the productive energy of today's Sun-Saturn sextile and the steadfast influence of the transiting Taurus Moon to support your efforts.

For some of you, this could mean following up on a proposal that you submitted yesterday morning.

The Taurus New Moon occurs at 11:23 PM. Details below.

Wednesday, May 8

While it's true that financial affairs tend to be in the spotlight when the transiting Moon is in Taurus, there's also a sensual side to this influence that might do your soul a lot of good.

So instead of just focusing your energy on practical matters, take a page from the Bull's playback and after you attend to the essential tasks at hand, reward yourself with something that soothes, comforts or indulges you.

After a brief void (5:56 PM - 7:22 PM), the transiting Moon enters Gemini.

Thursday, May 9

The energy is lively now, and given the strong camaraderie between the transiting Gemini Moon and Mars, you're likely to be on the move (physically or mentally) today.

In fact, if you happen to be stuck in the office or at home, you're likely to spend quite a bit of time texting/emailing friends, checking social media, playing online games or simply browsing the internet.

Since the sociable side of this transiting Moon makes it a positive one for personal and professional networking, this is a good day to reach out and connects with other people.

Friday, May 10

There's a strong possibility that something won't happen as quickly as you want, and if so, you're better off allowing it to happen on its own time because if you try to force it, you'll just spin your wheels and end the day feeling frustrated and/or disappointed.

Given today's restless energy, you're likely to commit to more than one social event before the day is over.

After a brief void (9:50 PM - 11:14 PM), the transiting Moon enters Cancer.

Saturday, May 11

If yesterday's transiting Gemini Moon found you making plans to go out and about today, you could find yourself rethinking them now that the transiting Moon is in homebody Cancer.

Should you decide to bow out, it's best to let everyone know early in the day. Not only is it the considerate thing to do, but there's a greater chance of hurt feelings and/or a quarrel in the afternoon (1:00 - 3:00 PM) while the transiting Moon argues with Mars.

To that end, if you do get together with friends or family this afternoon, it's best to avoid sensitive topics because emotions are likely to run high and tempers are apt to be short.

Sunday, May 12

If you're celebrating Mother's Day (USA), some delightful lunar energy courtesy of the transiting Cancer Moon suggests that the day will be a happy one. Under this nurturing influence, it will be easier to express your appreciation, and if you're the one being acknowledged, you'll definitely feel the love.

On another note, if this happens to be your usual Sunday, under today's fortunate lunar energies, you can expect good times and happy outcomes.

NEW MOON AT 18°02' TAURUS

May 7, 2024 • 11:23 PM EDT

Since the Bull presides over the material world, every Taurus New Moon is primed for manifesting money, as well as all types of tangible (movable) resources.

And this one is no exception.

In fact, given its close proximity to Uranus (within 5°), it's possible that an unexpected windfall or financial opportunity may come your way.

As the zodiac's ruler of the 2nd house of money and earned income, Taurus presides over bank accounts and salaries.

That means for some of you, this new moon may bring an opportunity to fund a certificate of deposit or other type of financial investment that will grow over time.

And for those who may be in the market for a new job or who are pursuing a promotion or a raise (or are due for one at this time), Saturn's stabilizing influence on this new moon suggests that your past efforts will be rewarded with a boost in your paycheck.

Getting Personal

So which areas are being targeted for a new beginning by this new moon in your life? They're revealed by the house in your horoscope that's receiving the new moon.

If you don't know which house holds 18°02' of Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the new moon falls according to your rising sign (if you know it). AS ABOVE, SO BELOW

Astrology and World Events

The Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Taurus occurred on April 20, and since this aspect occurs approximately every 14 years, we will continue to see its influence out in the mundane world for years to come.

But in the meantime, here are three recent events that can be attributed to this conjunction.

Campus Protests

The first anti-Israel/pro-Palestine campus protest occurred at Columbia University on April 17, and while the conjunction hadn't yet occurred, its influence was already in effect.

Since that time, protests have erupted on more than 150 university campuses across the country, with many of them escalating into riots.

In astrology, Jupiter rules colleges and universities and Uranus rules rebellion and chaos.

In addition to ruling institutions of higher learning, Jupiter presides over international affairs, religion and political beliefs. Not only have similar protests have erupted across the globe) but they are directly connected to foreign affairs (Israel and Palestine), religion (Jewish population) and political beliefs (government support for Israel).

One of Jupiter's roles is to expand whatever it touches. In this case, it's touching Uranus and not only have we seen the number of campus rebellions increase across the nation but we have seen many of the universities descend into chaos (also Uranus).

Uranus is a planet of extremes, and with some protesters commandeering buildings and calling for death to the Jewish population, death to Israel and death to the United States, it's not a stretch to call them extremists.

Besides ruling rebellion, Uranus rules organized movements, as well as disruption, separation and technology. As a result of these protests, some colleges and universities suspended classes and turned to remote learning, and in some cases, graduation ceremonies were cancelled or disrupted.

Uranus rules strangers and there are reports that in some cases many of the protesters have no connection to the universities.

Lastly, the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction took place in Taurus, the sign that rules money, and some parents and students are demanding tuition refunds.

New FTC Rule

On April 23, the Federal Trade Commission announced a rule that will ban almost all existing non-compete agreements and prohibit new ones.

A non-compete agreement is a legal contract signed by employees that prohibits them from working for a competitor for a certain length of time (e.g., 2 years) and/or from opening a competing business within a certain time frame and/or radius.

By banning these agreements, this legal rule (Jupiter) will effectively liberate (Uranus) every employee who was bound by one, thereby removing restrictions on where they can earn their income.

Note: Although the rule is expected to go into effect on/about August 26, 2024, the Federal Trade Commission's authority to invalidate such contracts is being challenged in the courts with more lawsuits expected to follow (see here).

Banking

Taurus doesn't just rule money. It rules the entire banking industry, and on April 26th, Republic First Bank in Philadelphia became the first regional bank failure of 2024 when it was seized by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities. (It has since been take over by Fulton Bank.)

Conclusion

So there you have it. Three distinctly different examples of how a major astrological aspect above can manifest in the mundane world below.
