Dear Stargazers,

Sitting here in my office in New York, I can hear the winds of October rustling through the trees as they strip the branches of their leaves. As
I listen to them, it reminds me that in a matter of weeks the once lush view from my window will be replaced by a landscape of bare limbs with a beauty of its own as it allows the rays of the strong winter sun to stream into my home.

Wherever you live, whatever season you're in, there's beauty in it. It's just waiting for you to take notice.
PSYCHIC ABILITY IN THE BIRTH CHART

This past week I was a guest on Maria DeSimone's Insightful Astrology podcast. Besides discussing psychic indicators in the horoscope, I had the opportunity to talk about my personal spiritual journey, including some details about my experience living in a haunted home.

Maria and I had a great time comparing notes, sharing insights and of course, talking about psychic ability in the horoscope. Interested? Then click here to listen to now or anytime on demand!
MESSAGES FROM THE LIGHT BEINGS

Click here to listen to the current episode of Shortcut to the Soul with my guest, spiritual author and psychic medium Anthony Morgann, who discusses why Mercury retrograde and other planetary cycles are universal laws and shares his journey as a spiritual light messenger, including his fear of coming out of the psychic closet.

Anthony and I also share a psychic experience that we experienced together back in 2013 and we also talk about the different types of psychic ability, including some indicators of it in his birth chart.  Finally, Anthony also sheds light on karma, soul groups, soul mates, healing and releasing negative energies in all life areas and of course, the light beings and how they can help us. FULL MOON at 1°13' TAURUS
October 24, 2018 | 12:45 PM
Washington, DC

This month's Full Moon in the stable, sensuous and financially-savvy sign of the Bull promises to deliver an unexpected surprise to some of you that will be viewed (now or in time to come) as a watershed moment in your life.

A conjunction from Uranus injects this full moon with a volatile energy suggests something unforeseen coming to fruition, to light or to an end, and it's a safe bet that whichever way it goes emotions are likely to run high. Since this dynamic planetary duo is opposing a Sun-Venus conjunction, it's likely to involve finances and/or a relationship (romantic or otherwise).

What points to the possibility of a milestone event is the fact that the Moon/Uranus and Sun/Venus conjunctions are squaring the Lunar Nodes, which are considered to be points of fate.

It also creates a fixed grand cross,  - thereby creating a fixed grand cross. Of the three possible grand cross combinations (the other two being cardinal and mutable), this is usually the most difficult one. Why? Because in contrast to a cardinal cross which is infused with initiative or a mutable cross which is instilled with adaptability, a fixed cross is steeped with durability and lacks self-motivation. As a result, its energy can be frustrated or blocked.

Fortunately, a trine from the Moon/Uranus conjunction, as well as a sextile from the Sun/Venus conjunction, to Saturn in Capricorn provides an outlet for this energy in a very positive way. The Sun/Venus sextile to Saturn suggests there may be an opportunity for a romantic and/or financial commitment, and the Moon/Uranus trine to Saturn helps tone down the volatility of this full moon.

Still, although Saturn's influence is helpful, it's not enough to tame Uranus, and that's why the energy of this full moon is likely to feel like a bit of an emotional roller coaster.

In the end, whether this full moon delivers an unexpected twist of fate in the form of an opportunity of a lifetime or it pulls a rug out from under your feet depends on the rest of your horoscope and what (if any) aspects this full moon is making in your chart.
Getting Personal

A full moon occurs when the Sun and Moon form an aspect known as an opposition. The house that holds the Moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to light, to fruition or to an end. Since a full moon falls across two houses, it's important to consider the life areas of the house that holds the sun as well.

If you don't know which house holds 1°13 Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the full moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart).

If your Sun Sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets). Read the 8th house as well.
Taurus, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life). Read the 7th house as well.
Gemini, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions). Read the 6th house as well.
Cancer, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues). Read the 5th house as well.
Leo, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation). Read the 4th house as well.
Virgo, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing). Read the 3rd house as well.
Libra, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters). Read the 2nd house as well.
Scorpio, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients). Read the 1st house as well.
Sagittarius, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition). Read the 12th house as well.
Capricorn, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment). Read the 11th house as well.
Aquarius, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents). Read the 10th house as well.
Pisces, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.). Read the 9th house as well.

Releasing with the Taurus Full Moon

Once the full moon peaks and the matter is concluded, it's over and the next step is to release any attachment to it. That's why, the period of time between the full moon and the next new moon (the time while the moon is waning or disappearing from sight) is energetically ripe for releasing things from our life.

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Taurus energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs connected to money (including the ability to earn, save and manage it well), personal values, productivity and feelings of self-worth.

Traits such as greed, rigidity, laziness, overindulgence, possessiveness, obstinance, and jealousy.

TRANSITING MERCURY ENTERS SAGITTARIUS

After spending several intense weeks learning about the mysteries of life in Scorpio, Mercury was ready to bring his newfound knowledge into the light of day.  He was also eager to share it with the world, which is why upon exiting the Underworld he immediately hit the open road that Sagittarius calls home.  >>Read More.
TRANSITING VENUS RETROGRADE ENTERS LIBRA

On October 31, transiting Venus retrogrades back into Libra where it will remain until it stations direct on November 16. Although Venus is stronger in Libra (a sign of her dignity) than in Scorpio (a sign of her detriment), her energy is still introspective. However, you may notice that your attention becomes more focused on matters related to beauty, justice, balance and one-to-one relationships. Until next time...

Happy Halloween to all who celebrate!
