TRANSITING MERCURY IN ARIES
April 17 - May 6, 2019

While in the sign of the self, Mercury can be rather self-centered. Likewise, our thoughts may be so focused on ourselves that we completely forget to consider others.

What's more, given the impatient and impulsive nature of the Ram, we may have less patience for anyone we feel isn't keeping up with us. As a result, we're also more likely to be more assertive, as well as jump to conclusions and say things that we may just as quickly regret.

On the upside, while Mercury is in Aries it's inspired, enthusiastic, quick-witted, eager to learn and able to think on its feet.
Likewise, we may be passionate about a new idea, feel motivated to learn something new or decide to rally the troops for a good cause.
FULL MOON at 20°07' LIBRA
April 19, 2019 | 7:12 AM
Washington, DC

Full moons usually bring matters to a conclusion, and this month's full moon in Libra is no exception.

Either way, it's likely to happen with a bang because the Sun is conjunct Uranus and the moon is opposing this combustible duo. It's also likely to be quite emotional, but whether you're sobbing or celebrating will depend on your current circumstances.

Venus is the planetary ruler of Libra, and in this chart it makes a quincunx to the moon. This is an awkward and uncomfortable energy that suggests a woman could be a source of tension for some of you.

Since Libra rules the 7th house, the spotlight is on committed relationships. Committed relationships include marriage and committed love relationships, as well as business partners and close friends. If there's a lack of balance in a relationship, this full moon can bring it light so it can be addressed. However, if it's a major or ongoing issue, this full moon can bring it to the breaking point.
Getting Personal

If you don't know which house holds 29°07' of Libra in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out which house the full moon falls in your solar chart. Since a full moon involves the sun and the moon, be sure to consider the life areas ruled by the opposite house as well.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, the full moon falls in your solar 7th house of lawsuits and one-to-one relationships. Read the 1st house as well.
Taurus, the full moon falls in your solar 6th house of work, health, service, pets.
Gemini, the full moon falls in your solar 5th house of romance, children, creativity. Read the 11th house as well.
Cancer, the full moon falls in your solar 4th house of home, family, real estate, parents and intuition. Read the 10th house as well.
Leo, the full moon falls in your solar 3rd house of siblings, short trips, transportation and all types of communications. Read the 9th house as well.
Virgo, the full moon falls in your solar 2nd house of money, income, values & self-worth. Read the 8th house as well. Read the 8th house as well.
Libra, the full moon falls in your solar 1st house - it's all about YOU! Read the 7th house as well.
Scorpio, the full moon falls in your solar 12th house of solitude, secrets, past lives and clairvoyance. Read the 6th house as well.
Sagittarius, the full moon falls in your solar 11th house of goals, casual friends, colleagues and group relationships. Read the 5th house as well.
Capricorn, the full moon falls in your solar 10th house of career, status and fame.
Aquarius, the full moon falls in your solar 9th house of foreign travel, higher education, legal matters and publishing. Read the 3rd house as well.
Pisces, the full moon falls in your solar 8th house of intimacy, other people's money and support, jointly-held assets and transformation. Read the 2nd house as well.

Releasing with the Libra Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Libra energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or attitudes connected to marriage, partnerships close friends and other committed relationships, as well as for releasing relationships that no longer fulfill you.

Traits and tendencies to be a people pleaser, co-dependent, shallow, vain, over-accommodating, self-indulgent, pretentious or indecisive.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAURUS!

Your industrious spirit, exquisite taste and natural affinity with money is the reason why you not only accumulate the most creature comforts but the finest ones as well. With a healthy respect for earning your way and a true appreciation for sensory delights, you're here to show us how to live the good life.
TRANSITING VENUS IN ARIES
April 20 - May 15, 2019

After basking in the sign of her exaltation for the past few weeks, it was time for Venus to stop resting on her laurels and start blazing a new trail. In other words, it was time to enter Aries.

As the planetary ruler of the seventh house of marriage and committed relationships, Venus presides over romance. The Aries nature is a bold, passionate and forthright one, so while the goddess of love is immersed in its energy she expresses an assertive approach to romance.

However, absent a deep and abiding connection, her interest will start to wane and her eye will start to wander. One of the lessons she’s here to learn is that if she chooses partners impulsively, she’ll leave a trail of broken hearts behind her.

Consequently, during this time it’s easier for us to become swept up by the idea of romance rather than its substance. If we allow our enthusiasm to rule our emotions, we’re likely to become involved in short-lived unions that may be fun for a while but will ultimately disappoint. >> Read More
PLUTO STATIONS RETROGRADE
April 24 - October 3, 2019

Pluto transits retrograde every year for about 5 months, and like all retrograde transits, this one is best used for introspection rather than initiation.

In astrology, Pluto rules the body's excretory systems that remove waste which if retained, would eventually cause agonizing pain and prove fatal if left untreated.

While Pluto is retrograde, it's time to look within for any repetitive patterns, obsessive thoughts or other psychological demons and banish them from your consciousness. Likewise, it's time to identify and purge relationships and circumstances that are toxic to your physical, emotional and spiritual well being.

If they're not released, they'll continue to hold your potential hostage and poison your happiness.

However, if you do the work and clear away these negative influences, once Pluto moves forward you'll find it much easier to create a life that aligns with your soul's purpose and brings you happiness and fulfillment on a daily basis.

SATURN STATIONS RETROGRADE
April 29 - September 18, 2019

Every year Saturn transits retrograde for approximately 4.5 months, and like all retrograde transits, it's best used for introspection rather than initiation.

When it comes to Saturn, you reap what you sow, which means that you ultimately rise or fall according to your own efforts.

While Saturn is retrograde, you're being given the opportunity to review what you've been doing up until now, identify any missteps and correct them. In short, it's time to review your circumstances and assess whether there are any weak links in your life that need to be addressed.

If so, you need to determine whether or not it can (or should) be repaired or whether it's best to let it go and start anew.

Whether you opt to repair or rebuild, the energy of this cycle will support your efforts to lay a strong foundation so that when Saturn stations direct, you'll  move forward knowing that you're on firm ground.
Closing Thoughts

To all who celebrate, Happy Passover!  Happy Easter!
Until next time,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
