November 6 - 12, 2023
All dates and times are given in EDT. Monday, November 6. Whenever Venus trines Pluto, she professes her undying love to him. While you may not go quite that far, you (or your partner) may decide to initiate a romantic commitment and secure the happy ending that today's Mercury-Neptune trine is showing you.
If you are currently unattached and meet someone today, you can expect to experience a strong attraction, as well as the feeling that you're meant to be together.
However, if such events occur while the Moon is void (2:26 AM - 2:40 PM), nothing is likely to come of the matter. So, if you have any control over meeting a potential partner (e.g., someone wants to introduce you) or having a serious romantic discussion, you do best to put it off until after 2:40 PM, at which time the transiting Moon will have entered Virgo.
Since Venus rules money, the same guidance applies to finances. A financial opportunity that comes your way during the void moon or a request for a raise isn't likely to pan out if it occurs during this time.
And, if romance and money isn't on your radar today, during the void moon it's best to avoid making important decisions or pursuing actions or activities that require a definite outcome.
Tuesday, November 7. Whether it's a daily assignment, a pressing deadline or routine chores, you can count on the diligent influence of the transiting Virgo Moon to help you accomplish your to-do list. This is also a good day to clean up your desk, update records, create file systems, reorganize your office or undertake any activity that promotes efficiency. Wednesday, November 8. Energetically speaking, this is the best day of the week, because the perceptive potential of the Mercury-Pluto sextile is boosted throughout the day by a series of fortunate aspects from the discerning Virgo Moon to Mars, Uranus, Pluto and Mercury. Overall, these energies can help you gain keen insights and/or solve problems, making this an excellent day to pursue activities, tasks or projects that require concentration and attention to detail. These influences can be especially helpful for studying medicine, psychology, the psychic arts or any other subject that examines the inner workings of the mind, body or spirit. At 11:56 PM, the transiting Moon goes void. Transiting Venus enters Libra at 4:31 AM. Details below. Thursday, November 9. Thanks to the peaceful nature of the transiting Libra Moon (3:09 AM) that immediately cozies up to Venus as soon as it enters the sign, the day begins on a relaxed note. Since there are no other aspects from the Moon for the rest of the day, its emphasis on social activities, relationships, beauty and fairness won't be influenced by any other planets. While this can be a good thing, it's important to be note that its lack of heavenly interaction could translate into a lack of earthly motivation. That said, this is an excellent day for lighthearted conversations, social activities and romantic pursuits. And, whether it's an art museum, a makeover or the wonders of nature, it's also a day to enjoy beauty in a way that is personally meaningful to you. Friday, November 10. It's very important to listen closely and choose your words carefully, because as soon as Mercury enters Sagittarius, it clashes with Saturn, and this influence can easily put a strain on communications that will promote misunderstandings and conflicts, With delays being common under this influence, messages and/or mail could show up later than expected, and transportation scheduled could be running behind. If you keep this possibilities in mind and prepare for them, you'll be less likely to experience frustration if they occur. Lastly, this planetary influence could coincide with writer's block and other conditions that make it difficult to concentrate, including eye strain and headaches. Transiting Mercury enters Sagittarius at 1:26 AM. Details below. Saturday, November 11. There are two influences that warrant your attention today, and first and foremost is the Mars-Uranus opposition, an influence that is known to inflame tempers, promote impatience, provoke argument/fights and coincide with accidents that result from impulsive and/or reckless actions.
Mars is about action, and when it's opposing Uranus, there's an urgency that could make you feel as though nothing is happening fast enough for you. Since this transit promotes reckless and impulsive actions, it's best to hold off on making decisions.
You will also benefit from slowing down, because in your rush to get things done, you can scald or cut yourself (Mars rules knives and fire/extreme heat) or if you're speeding, become involved in an accident or have a serious encounter with the law.
Given the ego-driven nature of both planets, if you find yourself at odds with someone, what begins as a simple disagreement could quickly escalate to a major argument and in extreme cases, come to blows.
The second influence you need to be aware of is that the transiting Moon is void today from 10:06 AM - 1:41 PM. As always, if you have anything to do that requires a definite outcome, it's best to avoid doing it during this period.
Now, if you're thinking that this void period will give you immunity to the Mars-Uranus influence, you're mistaken. Nothing overrides your free will. True, nothing may come of an argument, and you could get away with a warning instead of a ticket, but it's not going to prevent you or someone else from doing something rash, unwise or just plain stupid.
Furthermore, when the void ends (1:41 PM), the overall tone of the day becomes more intense because the transiting Moon is now in Scorpio, a lunar energy that usually promotes determination, focus and devotion. However, the dark side of this moon is vengeful, destructive and believes the end always justifies the means. Which side of the influence you experience will depend upon how you choose to channel it.
All that said, as long as you're aware of the energy and make a conscious effort to slow down, keep calm and avoid knee jerk reactions, you should be fine.
Sunday, November 12. At 4:29 AM, the transiting Scorpio Moon will be just 24 hours away from merging with the Sun and creating a new moon (11/13/23). At this point, we are in the dark period of the moon, which is an excellent time for releasing what no longer serves us. By doing so, we create a void that is ready to receive our new moon manifestations. Today's transiting Scorpio Moon is also a fortunate influence for introspection, self-analysis and any type of transformational work. | | TRANSITING VENUS IN LIBRA November 8 - December 4, 2023 | | Whenever Venus returns to Libra, she not only feels at home, she feels elegant, romantic and sociable. And while she's here, her attention is focused on people, places and things that makes her feel good about herself.
One of the things that makes Venus feel good about herself is her appearance, which is why during this time many of you will be inspired to update your personal style.
Romance is something else that makes her feel good, and in particular, an attentive partner who isn't shy about giving her compliments and making her feel special.
When Venus is in Libra, she craves a serious relationship. Not because she can't go it alone. Rather, she simply isn't a fan of flying solo and is much more comfortable, confident and productive when she has a partner.
That's why during this time many of you will be inclined to spend more time with your partner, while those who are unattached may find themselves yearning to couple up.
There's something else that makes Venus feel good, and that's money. However, it's not the money per se, but rather the happiness that money can buy her.
When Venus is in Libra, she doesn't shop the sales rack, buy drug store makeup, eat fast food or fly standby.
When Venus is in Libra, she has no problem indulging herself because she knows that she's worth it.
And while she's here, she wants you to feel the same way. | | TRANSITING MERCURY IN SAGITTARIUS November 10 - December 1, 2023 | | Whenever Mercury is in Sagittarius, he's at a disadvantage (in his detriment) because he has to play by the Archer's rules. While his detail-oriented nature wants to read the fine print and focus on concrete facts, he is told to look at the big picture and consider hypothetical theories.
Still and all, it's not that bad, because Mercury's rulership of mutable, airy Gemini makes it easy for him to adapt to life in this fiery, flexible sign.
In Sagittarius, Mercury is friendly, sociable, playful and articulate, and his natural restlessness is expanded under the influence of the Archer's wanderlust. Likewise, his thirst for knowledge and desire to share what he knows is also expanded, and while he's here, he embodies the spirit of the sage, as well as the student.
That's why during this time many of you will feel the urge to broaden your horizons through travel or enlarge your understanding through formal or informal study.
Of course, no sign is perfect, and Sagittarius is known for being blunt, preachy and excessive. Consequently, Mercury can be prone to verbal diarrhea when he's living in the Archer's house. Even worse, he can be rude, arrogant, argumentative, interrupting, condescending, dogmatic and downright hypocritical.
On that note, some of you may need to be more conscious of what you say and how you say it during this time.
While Mercury is in Sagittarius, his lesson is to embrace the Archer’s noble spirit and walk a path of integrity. If he does, he’ll be rewarded with the opportunity to spread knowledge, inspire hope and make a positive difference in the world.
