Subject: A Powerful Full Moon in Leo ⭐ Mercury Rx in Aquarius ⭐ Weekly Forecast & More

Heads up, Stargazers!

With the Sun squaring Uranus on Monday, the week could start off with some type of conflict or disruption, because interruptions, impulsive actions or ego-based conflicts are common under this influence. You may prefer to be alone, and truth be told, some of you may be better off. This is a day when you want to give the orders, not follow them, and while you're likely to have an abundance of passion, you're just as likely to be short on patience.

However, there is a positive side to this energy that can be used to your advantage. Bearing in mind that the Sun represents the creative urge and self-expression, Uranus represents originality and the square provokes action, it's possible to channel this energy for a higher purpose such as brainstorming innovative solutions, producing distinct works of art or coming up with visionary ideas.

As for the rest of the week, it's mainly about the Leo full moon because the rest of the week's signifiant aspects take place the same day. That being said, it's important to note that the week ends with Mercury stationing retrograde in Aquarius.

Jan. 28: Sun conjunct Jupiter

FULL MOON at 9°06' LEO
JANUARY 28, 2021 | 10:29 PM EST

This month's full moon is opposing Jupiter, the planet known for expanding whatever it touches. In and of itself, this aspect is a beneficial one because it promotes optimism and generosity while simultaneously inspiring confidence and creativity through its conjunction to the Sun.

Although this is very promising, the rest of the story is that the full moon is squaring Mars, which can promote anger, confrontations and impulsive actions. Since Jupiter is squaring Mars as well, conflicts are likely to escalate quickly if you allow your knee-jerk reactions to rule the day.

On a positive note, if you can funnel this energy into a creative project, this influence can be extremely motivating and you can expect to get a lot done.

So what types of conflicts are likely under this energy? Well, Leo is the sign of romance, and in the background of this chart is a Venus-Pluto conjunction, which is an intense energy known for stimulating powerful desires in connection to relationships.

Looking at its higher expression, the Venus-Pluto conjunction can represent the transforming power of love in the most positive sense. However, its lower expression can represent jealousy, possessiveness, manipulation and obsession. On that note, if a union is in trouble or has been plagued by mistrust, it's important to tread carefully under this full moon to avoid extreme emotions and unnecessary drama.

It's important to remember that no matter how promising or foreboding any given influence may seem, you're in control of the way you react to it. By remaining aware of the potential for conflict, you'll be in a good position to recognize any rumblings and nip them in the bud.

RELEASING WITH THE LEO FULL MOON

Once the full moon peaks and the matter is concluded, it's over and the next step is to release any attachment to it. That's why, the period of time between the full moon and the next new moon (the time while the moon is waning or disappearing from sight) is energetically ripe for releasing things from our life.

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Leo energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or fears related to romantic relationships, social gatherings, creative talents and expression, pregnancy and children, athletic ability and fun in general. It's also helpful for releasing a romantic relationship or interest that no longer fulfills you.

Traits or tendencies such as conceit, vanity, egotism, belligerence, extravagance and arrogance.
