Dear Stargazers,

A post-Christmas illness sidelined me for most of the week, and with a full client schedule last week and next, it just wasn't possible to deliver the usual amount of rich astrological content and insights.

While I can't guarantee it will happen, be assured that I'll make my best effort to send a newsletter out before next week's full moon.

In the meantime ...
                                               MERCURY RETROGRADE

The 2017 Mercury Retrograde calendar is posted on my website.
In addition to listing the retrograde periods, it also identifies the pre- and post-retrograde shadows. Click here to view it (and click on it to make it bigger).

PLANETARY FORECAST
(January 2 - 8)

Note:  Mercury will station direct at 4:43 AM on January 8th, so until then even the best days may be subject to a bit of planetary static. On another note, be sure to check that gifts given or receive actually work before you discard receipts, especially if they're of an electronic, digital or mechanical nature.

Best Days

While there are other days during this time frame that fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

January 2
January 7 (until 9:23 PM EST)

Best Avoided

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

2017 PREVIEW

What's on the planetary horizon for 2017? Here are some highlights:

JUPITER-URANUS OPPOSITIONS

As I mentioned in the previous newsletter, there will be two more Jupiter-Uranus oppositions in the signs of Libra/Aries in 2017.

You can count on me to provide you with valuable insights about each one before it occurs.

SHIFTING ECLIPSE AXIS

On August 18, 2016, there was a penumbral lunar eclipse in Aquarius. Although technically an eclipse, it's barely visible and from an astrological perspective, not as powerful as a partial eclipse, let alone a total solar eclipse. However, what was significant about this eclipse is that it introduced the beginning of a new eclipse axis. For the past few years, the eclipses have occurred in Virgo and Pisces, and while there's a Pisces solar eclipse ahead (2/26/17), the remainder of the eclipses in 2017 and ALL of the eclipses in 2018 will occur in Leo or Aquarius (plus one in Leo in 2019).

If you're born under the sign of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio, or have planets in any of those signs, at some point during the next two years one or more of these eclipses will activate your chart in a big way.

Eclipses are game changers, and those who are impacted by them usually experience a significant shift in their lives through endings and beginnings. Eclipse-related events, especially lunar eclipses, can occur up to two months before the eclipse.

I'm working on a special presentation ... fingers crossed it will be ready by mid-January.

SHIFTING NODAL AXIS

This spring the transiting Nodal axis will also change signs. Like the eclipse cycle, it will shift from Virgo/Pisces to Leo/Aquarius.

I'll be offering you guidance to help you make the most of this nodal cycle.

SATURN-URANUS TRINE, JUPITER-PLUTO SQUARE and MORE ...

I'll give you the scoop on these aspects as well as advice for helping them to work in your favor.

VENUS RETROGRADE

On March 4, 2017 the planet Venus will station retrograde at 13° Aries and will backpedal into Pisces before stationing direct in this sign on April 14. This is a significant retrograde cycle because it only occurs once every 18 months, and Venus is a triple-threat goddess because she presides over our heart, our wallet and our personal values

I'll be presenting a fabulous (no kidding!) workshop on this very topic in February, and as a valued subscriber, you'll be offered a special STARGAZER discount. You won't have to attend live, so you can enjoy it on your own time. More details to come in the weeks ahead.
A New Year's Message

As we begin a new year, I'd like thank you and express my appreciation for your ongoing support and offer my wishes for a happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful new year.

That said, as we begin 2017, I know many of you are filled with hope and are excited about the possibilities for the coming year.

My wish for you is that you succeed far beyond your wildest expectations.

At the same time, I know many of you are viewing the year ahead through eyes of uncertainty, and in some cases, fear.

My wish for you is that your fear turns out to be unfounded; and if not, I wish you the courage to face it, the faith to endure it, and the strength to overcome it.

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
