Subject: ADFF:DC was fantastic, now on to Chicago!

January 30, 2023

ADFF:DC was a blast, you can check out some images at the bottom of this newsletter. This week we have ADFF:Chicago from Feb 1-5 at the Chicago Architecture Center and then ADFF:Online from Feb 8-17.

Cold Chicago winter is the perfect time to be inside and watch films! Come experience the Chicago Architecture Center which will be transformed with a temporary theatre in the Skyscraper Gallery. The space is defined by fabric walls from Molo design, and everyone in the audience will use special headphones so the sound will be perfectly adjusted for each person.

We have also transformed the Chicago Gallery, which typically has a film about the city. During the festival, the gallery will feature 12 specially selected short films from past ADFF seasons. These films are free and will be shown on a loop throughout the festival.

If you regularly attend CAC events, then you'll be surprised by how we have altered the space. If you don't typically attend events at CAC, this is an opportunity to see it with fresh eyes!
