Subject: Your Weekly Market Snapshot: 10th - 14th August 2026

Assalamu'alaikum traders,

Alhamdulillah, Week 32 is done. 🤲🏻

Whatever kind of week you had, I hope you take something meaningful from it. Some weeks reward us, some test us, and some remind us that no matter how confident we feel, the market can humble us anytime.

If you finished in profit, Alhamdulillah. Be grateful, protect your capital, and don’t let a good week turn into overconfidence. If you took losses, don’t be too hard on yourself. Review what happened, learn from it, and come back next week with a clearer plan.

📊 Friday Market Wrap – Week 32

Minutes Chart:

📈 Markets continue to push higher.

It was another strong week for equities, with easing inflation helping calm concerns about persistent price pressures. The S&P 500 broke above 7,800 to reach another record high, while the Nasdaq extended its winning streak. The Dow, however, ended the week lower.

Strong corporate earnings, resilient consumer spending and continued optimism around AI growth are keeping investors positive. At the same time, weaker July retail sales and softer consumer confidence suggest parts of the economy may be losing momentum.

Daily charts:

With the Fed still waiting for more jobs and inflation data before September’s decision, this may be a good time to stay diversified, patient and disciplined rather than betting everything on one outcome.

Weekly charts:

💬 What do you think?

Is this bull market just getting started, or is a bigger pullback coming?

🌱 Stay patient. Stay disciplined. Trust your process.

And remember: our rizq comes from Allah, not the market.

⚠️ Not financial advice. Always do your own research.

Have a blessed weekend. Rest, reflect, spend time with your loved ones, and come back next week with a clearer mind.

May Allah put barakah in our rizq and wisdom in our decisions.

See you next Saturday, Inn Shaa Allah. 🤲🏻

Cheers & Regards,

Syazwan Bakar
