Subject: Your Weekly Market Snapshot: 3rd - 7th August 2026

Assalamu'alaikum traders,

Alhamdulillah, Week 31 is officially in the books. 🤲🏻

Whatever happened in your trades this week, take a moment to appreciate the lesson behind it. Some weeks bring profits, some bring losses, and some simply remind us that the market will always humble us.

If you ended the week in profit, Alhamdulillah. Be grateful, protect what you’ve earned, and don’t let a good week make you careless. If it wasn’t your week, don’t beat yourself up. Take the loss as feedback, review what went wrong, and come back next week with a better plan.

📊 Friday Market Wrap – Week 31

Minutes Chart:

📈 Another strong week for the markets.

The U.S. market continued its impressive run, with the S&P 500 hitting another record high. Investors seemed more comfortable as concerns over further Fed rate hikes eased, oil prices remained manageable, and confidence in AI-driven growth improved.

A weaker-than-expected July jobs report also strengthened expectations that the Fed could leave rates unchanged at 3.50%–3.75% in September.

At the same time, corporate earnings continue to give investors reasons to stay optimistic. Q2 earnings growth is tracking around 48%, with strength spreading beyond the mega-cap tech names.

Daily charts:

For the week, the S&P 500 gained 3.6%, the Nasdaq jumped 5.2%, and the Dow climbed nearly 3% — their strongest weekly performances since April.

But remember, a strong market doesn’t mean the risks have disappeared. Inflation, interest rates, the labour market and geopolitical tensions can still change the picture quickly.

💬 So, what do you think?

Is this bull market just getting started, or are we due for a bigger pullback?

🌱 Stay patient. Stay disciplined. Trust your process.

And above all, remember that our rizq comes from Allah — not from the market.

⚠️ This is not financial advice. Always do your own research.

Have a blessed weekend. Rest, reflect on your trades, spend time with your loved ones, and return next week with a clearer mind and stronger discipline.

May Allah put barakah in our rizq and wisdom in every decision.

See you next Saturday, In Shaa Allah. 🤲🏻

Cheers & Regards,

Syazwan Bakar
