My daughter, Magic (now 18), and I (#52) celebrated our birthdays this week! I always love the month of June because it feels so festive. Congratulations to all the graduates out there, and Happy Summer Sweetness for us in the northern hemisphere. No matter where you are, may this Solstice time reinvigorate a healthy commitment to daily movement and provide playful meditations in nature with those you love.

My big reveal:
I am completing my Pilates Mat & Reformer Certification! Reformer Pilates has been a longtime practice for me, which I found 8 years ago, soon after I moved to Kauai. During my recent recovery from hysterectomy surgery, it helped me to slowly reconnect and care for myself. At this stage in midlife, my physical fitness and healing journey needed a refresh and a reboot. Since I have been using the Reformer successfully for rehabilitation, I decided to dive even deeper. When I found Breathe Education (based in Australia), everything started falling into place. My official training is due to conclude in a few months, but I am already teaching 4 - 6 reformer sessions a week at a beautiful physiotherapy studio (open to the public) in Lihue calledKauai Therapy & Wellness!
