Earth Human, Cosmic Human:
Discovering Balance at the Solstice Extremes

The Saint John's festival is one of the times in the annual cycle of the year when Esoteric Christians in the southern hemisphere feel most out of sync with their spiritual companions in the northern hemisphere.  These experiences of disconnection contain deep meaning and purpose that we will explore both conceptually and experientially.

Lelan Harris is a founding member and the Executive Director of Wise Cosmos Educational Initiative (WiseCosmos.org).  He is an experiential explorer and integrative practitioner of many human development and spiritual paths.  For Lelan, every day is an adventure of discovering the wisdom of the cosmos – God in every guise – and then sharing those treasures through healing, coaching, serving, and pioneering.  Lelan has been married to Julie for over 30 years, and among their greatest delights together is playing in and with nature through every season, ecosystem, and altitude; self-guided town and country tours; plus art, music, and dance.
Alison Meredith lives in rural New Zealand and recently joined Wise Cosmos Educational Initiative (WiseCosmos.org) as Executive Administrator.  Alison met Anthroposophy as her children progressed through the local Waldorf School, where she coordinated a parent and child play group and was actively involved in the parent community.  These led to being a participant and leader in several areas of anthroposophical initiative, including Eurythmy and the Christian Community.  Her professional background includes working as a Food Technologist in both Research & Development plus Sales & Marketing.  Alison is constantly inspired by the spiritual teachings of Rudolf Steiner, experimenting and discovering new ways to integrate them into daily life with love and joy.
