This year's presentations will be interacting with Rudolf Steiner‘s lecture cycle According To Luke (10 lectures given in Basel, Switzerland from September 15 - 26, 1909). GA114.

Steiner addresses the genealogy and childhood of Jesus in the Matthew and Luke Gospels, unveiling for the first time the mystery of the two Jesus children. He also describes the workings of Zarathustra, and the relation between the Jesus child and Buddha.

This book was originally titled The Gospel of St. Luke.

From December 26 through January 6, there is a presentation each evening during the festival celebration of the Holy Nights. Most are in person, but all are welcome to participate in the Zoom gatherings. Most of the presentations will focus on Rudolf Steiner's According to Luke, but there will be two special presentations, one on New Year's Eve and the other on January 6, Epiphany. Detailed information about these events can be accessed on the website of the Sacramento Faust Branch of the American Anthroposophical Association website:

Easter is resurrection light

arising out of tomb darkness.

St. John's is bonfire conflagration

penetrating through dark nights of the soul.

Michaelmas is lantern fire

journeying into darkness.

Christmas Holy Nights is candle flame of soul

held aloft for those lost in darkness.
