Spring is Around the Corner
The winter rains bring with them massive change to the landscape. The creek swells to a river, the hillsides turn a lush green, and at long last, the flowers start to bloom, indicating spring is just around the corner. So far, we are seeing only a few pops of color dotting the landscape here and there, promising the bloom is on the way. Spring is an excellent time to enjoy all the natural beauty Wilbur has to offer.

Exciting opportunities are on the horizon this coming spring! Be sure to sign up for our Work Trade List so you don't miss a chance to get your hands dirty on the preserve! For those of you already signed up, we sincerely appreciate your interest and you can expect to hear from us shortly.

Community Blossoms
It's no doubt that Wilbur has a knack for attracting some astounding and talented people. Nearly everyday, a talented musician picks up an instrument and captures the room, many times drawing a small crowd. This winter has been a time to tune in and take note of the talent already blessing our walls. As we move into spring, we are excited to continue elevating community members in new and meaningful ways.

So far, we've been able to host a Winter Wellness workshop with herbalist, and long time community member Christopher Hobbs; as well as a Medicinal Chocolate Making workshop with Anya and Erica, long time Wilbur guests. Both events were highly successful in bringing together the guest community, allowing for learning and sharing from all sides, creating truly beautiful spaces. With plenty of Music in-between, February was a successful month filled with community gathering and growth.

As the warmer weather sets in, we plan to begin offering yoga again in April. Be sure to take a look at our Special Events Calendar so you don't miss out on your favorite program.

You may have also noticed that we have relaxed our 2-night minimum for most weekdays. We hope that you will consider an overnight visit during the week when the waters are even more peaceful than usual.
