Since 2018, Five Talents has worked alongside communities in northeastern DRC through Savings Groups and training in literacy, numeracy, business, and gender-based violence prevention.

But behind every program are people making decisions about their families and futures.

During this special evening at Virginia Theological Seminary, Irene will share what she has learned from working alongside these communities — the obstacles they encounter, the solutions they are building locally, and the changes that become possible when people gain the tools to save, learn, and create livelihoods.
