Thanks to two generous donors who offered Challenge gifts and to everyone who responded, we'll be able to help even more families in South Sudan build sustainable pathways out of extreme poverty.

Your partnership is already changing lives. Nowhere is that clearer than in Wandi, South Sudan. Just two years after launching our program there, we're seeing extraordinary results. Since beginning with literacy groups in 2024 and expanding into Savings Groups in 2025, communities in Wandi have already experienced transformation that reaches far beyond finances.

Here are just a few highlights:

• 60% report an improved ability to send their children to school

• 65% have successfully taken a loan, with an outstanding 99% repayment rate

• 71% have started a business or income-generating activity, contributing to a 66% increase in household income

• 76% of members can now read in their mother tongue, compared to just 4% in 2024

• 98% of members are now attending a place of worship, compared to 57% in 2024

These aren't just statistics. They represent women and men rebuilding their lives through literacy, savings, entrepreneurship, and the support of their communities. They represent parents creating new opportunities for their children and families discovering renewed hope for the future.
