This Father's Day, we celebrate fathers around the world who work tirelessly to provide for their families, nurture their children, and build brighter futures for the next generation.

At Five Talents, we have the privilege of walking alongside many fathers who are striving to create new opportunities for their families through Savings Groups, small businesses, and financial training. Their determination and resilience inspire us every day.

When a father gains the tools to start a business, save for emergencies, and invest in his family's future, the impact extends far beyond one individual. Children are more likely to stay in school, families experience greater stability, and communities become stronger.

As we reflect on the importance of fathers this weekend, we’re resharing the inspiring story of Akello, a young father in Karamoja, Uganda. He was excited to share how far he has come in being able to provide for his family and break the cycle of generational poverty for his son since joining a Savings Group at his church.
