February 2026
As we reflect on this recent World Mission Sunday, we want to pause and say thank you. Your prayers and partnership throughout 2025 have strengthened the work of Five Talents and the communities we serve around the world. We are deeply grateful to walk alongside you in furthering God’s mission.
Last week we sent an email to all Five Talents supporters in anticipation of World Mission Sunday and invited them to join us in prayer for the global Church. We are writing now to you to invite your congregation to engage with this call in a focused and meaningful way.
As shared in our earlier message, there are now more than 730 million Christians across Africa, with projections pointing to more than 1.4 billion by 2050. In villages and cities alike, pastors are shepherding growing congregations, new leaders are emerging, and communities are being transformed through discipleship and hope in Christ.
In the original email, we invited supporters to pray for:
Wisdom and strength for pastors and church leaders Courage and perseverance for believers facing persecution or conflict Peace, stability, and reconciliation in communities recovering from trauma
Beginning yesterday with Malawi and continuing for ten days, we will be sharing daily prayer requests for each of the ten countries where Five Talents works. These requests will be shared on our social media channels, and we invite your church to follow along—whether through corporate worship, small groups, or personal prayer. |
