BOARD NOTES

WAYFARERS INPUT REQUESTED (by 10/29)

As Wayfarers looks to 2026, the Board will be reviewing speakers, musicians, and the charities we wish to support. If you have comments you'd like to share about speakers or musicians or a charity you think fits with Wayfarers core values, please contact a Board member before the 10/30 Board meeting.


BOARD MEETING - Thursday, October 30 (3-5 PM)

The Wayfarers Board of Directors will meet Thursday, October 30th at 3 PM to review Speakers and 2026 Budget. The meeting will be held at 400 Northridge Dr, Tiger, GA.

SUNDAY - OCTOBER 12

SERVICE - Sunday, October 12 (10 AM)

Our music this Sunday is by Katharine Brown and John Howarth.


Ruth Henry's message is "To Be Determined" ... really... no typo ... that's the title!

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

OPELSKE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

It is officially LEAF SEASON! On the Friday or Saturday before each service, a team of three can easily clear the leaves, nuts, and limbs from the sidewalks, parking areas, deck, and gutters. If you are interested in serving in this way, please check out the signup sheet on the bookshelves near the door. We are still open for volunteers for 10/17-18, 11/7-8, and 11/14-15.

WEEKLY EVENTS

MEDITATION - Mondays (5-6 PM)

The meditation leader and style changes each week. General format is: arrive quietly, brief introductions, meditation, brief discussion about the meditation, and a 5 minute silent closing meditation.

This group is suitable for all experience levels and everyone is welcome!


WRITERS GROUP - Tuesdays (5-6:30 PM)

The Wayfarers Writers Group is the perfect environment to be inspired and hone your writing skills. All genres, all experience levels welcome.

LAST SUNDAY

Last Sunday was music by Keith Vickers and Paul Watts and message by Dr. Katie Davis. Katie's message - Restore, Replenish, Rinse, Repeat - will be available online later this week.

Immediately following service, we shared good food with friends during our monthly potluck.
