SERVICE

Sunday, March 31st at 10 AM

This Easter Sunday, the music of Crowe Capps will be followed by a special bird song meditation. Dr. Maggie Renken will then lead us in a discussion of rebirthing our authentic selves. Following the discussion, we will move out to the deck where we will plant pollinator seeds in prepared pots with the hope of a spring and summer of beautiful flowing plants for insects, birds, and people to enjoy. Coffee, tea, and treats will be available immediately following the service as we laugh, talk, and catch up with one another.

WRITERS GROUP

Tuesday, April 2nd from 5-6:30 PM

The Wayfarers Writers Group, facilitated by Sam Renken, is open to writers of all ages, genres, and experience levels. Each week, participants share their writings with the group. They also receive a new prompt/topic for writing to be shared the following week. It is a wonderful opportunity to challenge and express your creativity. The group meets from 5-6:30 every Tuesday in RoseMary's Chapel.

WRITERS GROUP SPECIAL READING

Friday, April 19th from 7-9 PM

Save the date and join the Wayfarers Writers Group as they share from their recent works. Reading will be in the main chapel.

LAST WEEK

The service began with a meditation led by Jen Utley accompanied by sound immersion by Waves Around You (Aaron Memmer and Kalee Woodall).

We then enjoyed the original music of John Turpin and more from Aaron Memmer and Kalee Woodall.

Dr. Maggie Renken then shared thoughts on "Avoiding the Trap of the Thinking Mind".

After the service, we enjoyed visiting and exploring the musical instruments used in the service.

Music and talk will be available online later this week.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Authenticity

is the daily practice of letting go

of who we think we're supposed to be

and embracing who we are.
