THIS WEEK

WRITERS GROUP (5:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30th)

Have you ever considered writing a short story, a poem or even a novel? If so, join us Tuesday night. A prompt is provided to get the ideas flowing. Everyone - regardless of experience - is encouraged to attend.

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - July 5th)

This Sunday's host will be Jennifer Utley. Our music will be provided by Greg Thomas and Al Scortino and will be followed by a group wide discussion about civility. The first Sunday of every month is potluck. Please join us afterwards for lunch and fellowship. There is always plenty of food to share.

MEDITATION GROUP (5:30 July 6th)

Meditation is back and will be held the first Monday of every month at 5:30 in RoseMary's chapel. Don't miss this opportunity for quiet contemplation, relaxation and fellowship.

PORCH CONCERT (2 - 4 July 19th)

Two Legendary “pickers” and singer/songwriters, Charlie Simmons and

Bill Peterson, are excited to bring their award-winning talent and easy listening groove to the Wayfarers Deck. Pack your lawn chair and favorite beverage for a Sunday afternoon of great, heartfelt music to make you smile along the banks of beautiful Estatoah Creek. Concerts are free, but tips for musicians are appreciated. Rain or shine - show will be inside if it rains.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Last Sunday Charlotte Starfire was our host and beautiful cello music was provided by Marie Dunkle. Tonya Welch shared her story and talked about inclusion. Her message - and other talks you may have missed - are available by clicking here.  Or click the Sunday Talks link on our webpage.

In the afternoon, the rain kept us inside once again but everyone had a fantastic time listening to the sounds of Cicada Rythmn.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

“Diversity is having a seat at the table, inclusion is having a voice, and belonging is having that voice be heard.”
