MEDITATION GROUP (9-9:30 AM, Sunday, June 7th) Spend half an hour in RoseMary's chapel prior to the service. This short meditation is a great way to start the day! |
SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - June 7th) This Sunday's host will be Jennifer Utley, the music is provided by Sandi Craig and Paul Watts and our message will be given by Beth Loveland. |
POT LUCK (Following chapel) Every first Sunday of the month chapel is followed by a Pot Luck where we can share lunch and some additional time together. If you bring a dish, please include a list of ingredients to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. You are welcome to stay and enjoy lunch even if you haven't brought a dish. There is always plenty to go around. |
40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION PLANNING MEETING A meeting to organize the Anniversary weekend will follow Pot Luck. The last meeting resulted in some wonderful ideas. This time we'll be creating small groups to help organize the various components of the celebration including Peace pole, Food, Saturday activities, and Sunday plans. Bring your ideas and enthusiasm! |
BOARD MEETING The Wayfarers Board of Directors will meet following the 40th Anniversary Celebration planning meeting. All Wayfarers are encouraged to attend. If you have an item you'd like added to the agenda, please contact one oif the board members ahead of time. |

REIKI (4 - 6 PM Wednesday June 17th) Reiki is a gentle healing art to aid body, mind, and spirit and is used in more than 800 hospitals and clinics in the US as part of their complementary and alternative medicine treatments. Sessions at Wayfarers are provided by experienced practitioners and typically last 10-15 minutes. These "first come - first served" sessions are free and everyone is welcome. Donations to support the chapel are welcome. |
CICADA RHYTHM CONCERT (2 - 4 PM Sunday, June 28th) |
|
They're back!! Cicada Rhythm's blend of guitar, upright bass, and smooth vocals with covers and originals is always a great way to enjoy the afternoon on the deck at Wayfarers. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the chapel. Admission is free. Donations to support the musicians are greatly appreciated. |
WAYFARERS 40th ANNIVERSARY (September 12th - 13th) Wayfarers 40th anniversary will be celebrated the weekend of September 12-13. The board is very grateful for the ideas and support already flowing. |
|
Parking is snug when we have a full house, so all parking is nose-in (or tail-end, if that's your preference) except for parking on the roadside before the chapel and one space on the left side of the lower lot facing the stairs. Thanks! |
|
Last Sunday Joyce Oliver was our host, music was provided by Jeff Wilson and Marie Dunkle and we were treated to the message, "Reclaiming Your Divinity - The Return to the Now", by Sonjan. This message - and other talks you may have missed - are available online. |
