SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM)

This Sunday is music by Marie Dunkle and Crowe Capps with message by Charlotte Starfire. The service will end with a Burning Bowl ceremony - a fire ritual of sacred release and transformation, letting go of that which you don't want to carry with you into 2026 and igniting your vision for the future.

Refreshments and fellowship immediately following service.

LAST SUNDAY

Last Sunday, 47 two-legged and 4 four-legged Wayfarers joined to celebrate the holiday season through music and readings.

Marie and Santa started things off, and Katharine kept things moving. Marie and Chris Casses played "Oh, Holy Night".

Tonya Welch shared "Amazing Peace" by Maya Angelou. Joyce read a story of the origins of Wayfarers by RoseMary Hatfield. Sandi Craig and John Howarth shared "What Child Is This".

Katharine and John then shared John's original Christmas tune "Let Love Reach Out at Christmas". Then it was time for "The Christmas Song" by Keith Vickers and Paul Watts.

The Mountain Chorus (Nate and Gail Anderson, Michael Contino, Katharine Brown, and Lisa Ezzard) shared the beautiful harmonies of "We Shall Be Known" and "We Are One World". Anne Kirslis shared the poem "Christmas Bells" and Crowe Capps shared a guitar melody.

Mereta Alspaugh shared "We Will Remember Them". We all joined to sing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" and "Joy to the World" and finished with Ruth and Katharine leading a bluesy version of "Silent Night". Oh wait - We only thought we were done! Then Garnett Nash reminded us of even how the Grinch discovered the meaning of Christmas!

THOUGHTS FOR THE WEEK
