August 17-23, 2026

THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITIES

WRITER'S GROUP (5-6:30 PM - August 18th)

After another successful Reading Room, the writers are back to work honing their craft. If you write stories, poems or even journal, join this group of talented and supportive Wayfarers. No experience necessary.

SUNDAY SERVICE (10 AM - August 23rd)

Our music will be brought to us by Sweet Charity and Dee Daley will deliver the message "My Sink Just Collapsed and Our Connection to Source". Please stay after for coffee, snacks and fellowship.

DRUM CIRCLE (6-8 PM - August 23rd)

It's time for another gathering of drummers and percussionists. Bring your instrument or borrow one of ours and join in the rhythmic fun of drumming on the deck (weather permitting).

REIKI CANCELLED

There will be no Reiki sessions in August. Please join us when REIKI resumes on September 16th.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

BOARD NOMINATIONS

Interested in serving the Wayfarers family? Consider serving on the Wayfarers Board of Directors. For information, please contact one of the current Board members (contact information near the bottom of this newsletter).

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Our music was brought to us by an ensemble featuring Katharine Brown, Chris Casses, Lisa Ezzard, Colleen Gardner, Heather Gordon, Sheilia Gregory, Pam Meisner and Jan Miller.  MLama Yeshe Palmo (aka Peggy Turco) brought us the message "Calm, Abiding Foundational Meditation: Shinay - The First Practice One Learns" and answered our questions.

Past Sunday Talks can be found here.

ROSIN & ROSE ON THE DECK

It was a very warm afternoon but Rosin & Rose brought their "Speakeasy" groove of classic Jazz and Blues to the Wayfarers Deck. Vocalist Delphine Rivers and violinist Marie Dunkle treated us to songs and rhythms for listening and dancing.
