Join the Virginia STEM Learning Ecosystem and the Virginia Partnership for Out-of-School Time (VPOST) for the next STEMinar on August 6, 2026 at 4:00. Designed for anyone facilitating informal STEM learning who doesn't come from a formal STEM teaching background, including out-of-school time educators, librarians, parks and recreation staff, museum educators, troop leaders, and corporate volunteers, this session will explore the unique and powerful role out-of-school time (OST) settings play within the broader STEM ecosystem. Attendees will be introduced to PEAR's Dimensions of Success (DOS), a research-based framework for facilitating high-quality OST STEM programming. Attendees will also gain practical strategies to incorporate authentic STEM practices and ready-to-go resources. The session will close with a real-world example from a program speaker, bringing the concepts to life through firsthand practice! M
