The General Assembly adjourned on March 12th without a budget, but they will return on April 4th to finish it. We need your help advocating for them to include funding for afterschool programs! They are considering a budget proposal that would make a $4 million statewide investment in programs through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.

Please take a few minutes to email the legislators working on the budget and ask them to support this funding initiative. If passed, it would fund 15 additional community-based programs and provide support for professional development, meeting licensure requirement, and best practices.
