Subject: 📢 Dr. Traymanesha Lamy selected for White-Riley-Peterson Policy Fellowship!

The Riley Institute at Furman University has announced the 14th cohort of out-of-school time leaders who will participate in the prestigious White-Riley-Peterson (WRP) Policy Fellowship. This ten-month, intensive program offers Fellows access to policy experts across the country to help them build policy skills and create a project that positively influences the OST field. Funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the WRP Fellowship aims to build community and camaraderie among the 17 selected Fellows while they continue to hone their selected policy project.

VPOST is thrilled share that Virginia will be represented once again - this time by Dr. Traymanesha Lamy, President & CEO of NextUp. Her work in Richmond is already making a positive impact, and Dr. Lamy's participation as a Policy Fellow will only strengthen that.

Past WRP Policy Fellows from Virginia include VPOST Executive Director, Blaire Denson and General Assembly Funds Programs Manager Brent Holsinger; ALXBeyond Executive Director, Caitlin Brown, and City of Harrisonburg Mayor Deanna Reed.
