Subject: VPH newsletter - June 2026

Dear reader,

Last year, the VPH Society was selected as one of the thematic networks for the 2026 European Health Policy Platform cycle with its proposal, Bridging the Gap Between Innovation and Adoption: Building the Foundations for Trusted AI and Virtual Human Twins in Health and Care.

As part of this initiative, the VPH Society successfully delivered its first webinar in February and will co-host a second webinar on 2 July 2026 to explore pathways for facilitating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Human Twins (VHTs) in healthcare.

The ultimate objective of this initiative is to produce a Joint Statement containing actionable policy recommendations for regulators, healthcare providers, and payers. These recommendations will help strengthen Europe’s ecosystem for trustworthy, human-centred digital health technologies and support the responsible integration of AI and VHTs into health and care systems.

We invite you to join the webinar and contribute to this important discussion.

Enjoy the reading!
