Subject: VPH newsletter - May 2026

Dear reader,

In 2023, the European Commission launched the Virtual Human Twin (VHT) initiative - a landmark effort to develop patient-specific digital representations capable of guiding diagnosis, treatment, and prevention across Europe. Our society has been at the heart of this effort from the start. We coordinated the EDITH CSA project, which united the VHT ecosystem and produced the VHT roadmap. We are now involved in the building of the VHT Advanced Simulation Platform, where we lead the User Group and the activities that connect the platform to its future users.

In this webinar, we will bring you up to speed on the current state of the VHT initiative - spanning research, infrastructure, ecosystem development, and clinical and regulatory progress. As members of the consortium developing the Platform, we will also share the latest on its development timeline and how you can get involved.

If you're interested in the discussion, join us on the 5th of June 2026 from 12 to 13.

Enjoy this month reading!
