This month, we celebrate the groundbreaking work of Natalia Trayanova, professor at Johns Hopkins University, renowned for applying AI and computer modelling to heart disease. A recipient of the NIH Director’s Pioneer Award and a member of the Women in Technology Hall of Fame, her work is reshaping the future of cardiac care.

Tools based on AI and computer simulation have been created to identify and treat spinal degeneration. The European Commission has highlighted the potential of applying the results in the clinical field.
