Building on the comprehensive VHT roadmap, VPH is planning to formulate a joint statement for the 2025-26 Thematic Network on trusted AI and Virtual Human Twins, bringing together the community's voice. We invite the support of our members and beyond to rally behind a strong proposal.

VPH COMMUNITY
In this second article of our series on in silico medicine during the COVID-19 response, we explore how computer models helped optimise vaccine doses, test therapies, as well as simulate immune responses, virtually—saving time, reducing risk, and guiding smarter, faster decisions in a race against the clock.
On 27 June 2025, VPH held its annual General Assembly online, a moment to reconnect with our members, reflect on key achievements, and align on the road ahead for In Silico Medicine.

The REALM-AI consortium (R&I action on Real-world data enabled assessment for health regulatory decisions) held its General Assembly in Warsaw, Poland, from 23 to 25 June 2025.



Computer models and Artificial Intelligence present regulatory bodies with new challenges and opportunities. To navigate this intricate landscape, we turned to a leading innovator in the field: Tina Morrison, former Director of the Office of Regulatory Science and Innovation at the FDA.

Ine’s pioneering research explores how technologies like DNA testing and in silico medicine reshape healthcare and society. As a partner in the In Silico World project, she has worked closely with VPH on several stakeholder engagement and social science activities, always bringing sharp insights and a collaborative spirit.
