It's almost official, Spring is here tomorrow! It's beautiful in the PNW with daffodils blooming, cherry blossoms blooming, and birds singing. It's also nice having more daylight hours.
In my last newsletter I discussed grounding as a way to calm yourself and your animals no matter how much scrambled energy and uncertainty is in our lives and the world today. The exercise showed a grounding technique for you. And as promised, I'm sharing one for your pet in the Exercise for the Week section below.
I have been drawn to continue with discussing the 3-step energy essentials: grounding, clearing, and protecting.
After you and your pets get grounded, the next step is energy clearing.
Energy clearing is important for both you and your pet because it helps remove negative or stagnant energy, promoting emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Here’s why it matters:
For You:
1. Reduces Stress & Anxiety – Clearing negative energy can help you feel more balanced and calm.
2. Improves Mental Clarity – A refreshed energetic space can boost focus and decision-making.
3. Enhances Emotional Well-being – Removing heavy energies can uplift your mood and increase positivity.
4. Strengthens Bond with Your Pet – When your energy is clear, you can connect better with your pet on an intuitive level.
For Your Pet:
1. Eases Anxiety & Fear – Pets are highly sensitive to energy, and clearing can help them feel safe and relaxed.
2. Supports Physical Health – Negative energy buildup may contribute to stress-related illnesses in animals.
3. Encourages Positive Behavior – Pets often react to the energy in their environment; clearing it can reduce unwanted behaviors.
4. Creates a Harmonious Home – A balanced energetic environment fosters a peaceful atmosphere for you and your pet.
Now let's get your pet grounded... |

Grounding Your Pet:
• Get yourself grounded first. • Gently place your hand on your pet's low back with light pressure. • Hold this position for 20-30 seconds. • Take calming breaths as you hold your hand on the low back. |
