This week's Energetic Forecast:

There's a lot going on and more to come. We just had the solstice, which is a huge influx of light, along with an interesting alignment in the sky you may have noticed--the triangle of the moon, venus, and jupiter. A great combo for light, love, abundance, and expansion. We have more of that to come on the full moon in capricorn on july 1st with a full conjunction of venus and jupiter. We have also had a lot of solar flares lately which tend to kick things up. So we have an interesting combination of incoming light energies along with saturn still retrograde in scorpio and chiron retrograding which has the effect of cleaning and healing the shadow energies out of your closet! I will give you a little heads up now, July 4th and 5th will be a bang up influx of energies, more on that next newsletter.

Trust the Journey. I am preparing for my class in Lily Dale next week called "Journey to Spiritual Partnerships" (more on that in the updates section.) This led me to pondering trust and how important it is. True trust though is not the trust that the ego has but the trust found in the soul. It is not based on "I will trust this person never to hurt me," because realistically this is not even possible. It is very likely that any person in your life will hurt you in some way at least once. The trust of the soul has unwavering belief in the process of the journey. That it will be able to handle whatever happens in strength. That the journey is meaningful and worth it. That we are constantly growing and moving towards evolution and soul enlightenment. That it is possible for all of us to learn from life and grow deeper in love with it "as we go." The journey is not a destination, it is an ever widening circle as the road opens up further when certain sign posts are reached. Trusting the journey is ultimately, trusting the Divine within.

Client Story: I have some clients who are in the midst of their spiritual awakening process, which I coach them through. Part of this process often includes uncomfortable processes that need to happen for healing to occur. Many things must be surrendered, and surrendered to, in trust that the journey will carry them even though they may not understand it at the time. How can we trust? Sometimes you don't have much of a choice. In the soul connection section below I will explain a process you can use to develop greater trust in your journey.

One way to trust your intuition more is to think about the times when that little voice would not shut up, but you did not want to listen to it. What happened? LOL. Get to know those nudges and vow to pay attention to them. Practice using your intuition, that is the best way to learn how to trust it.

Empower.

To empower yourself you have to trust yourself, it's as simple as that. All of these concepts go together. Action is best taken from a place of sureness. Go deep within to self to see what is true for you. And your courage to take action based off of your own truth (not that of others,) is what will truly empower you.

Awaken.

The interesting thing about awakening to your true nature as a divine soul is that the insights come along as you trust the journey. But trust has to come first. Then the understanding. Sometimes we try too hard to figure everything out from a headspace. Whereas, awakening really happens primarily from a heartspace. Get deep into your feelings of trust or lack of trust and work on that. This opens you to get the insights.

Soul Connections & Trusting the Journey

A soul connection is a journey, a deep beautiful journey into the heart and soul of your true self.

When we trust it we trust what we learn along the way. We trust how we feel. Trust is not: I love you only when it works out the way I want. Trust is: I love you even though I don't know why.

How can we ever learn to trust a journey like this? One that is filled with hunger and thirst, never knowing fully where you are going?

It ain't easy. But here is something you can do to move deeper into trust. This applies to your soul connection situation as much as it would to anything, really.

Think about the patterns of your past. Not because you need to live there, but because you are mining it for nuggets of wisdom. When you do, you find patterns, programs, templates, beliefs, repeating habits and repeating lessons.

Now imagine who you would be today if you did not go through those things? Who would you be?

You wouldn't be you, at this point on your journey. Everything comes into your experience so you can grow, learn, and evolve. With soul connections you are learning to grow into the love that you are, the divine love that lives in you.

The goal is to become love, not to "get" love. By reflecting and looking back, you can learn to trust the journey you have been on, which has developed unexpectedly towards your betterment all along.

If you can trust the past and see its meaning, you can trust the now and know it has meaning even if you don't know it yet.

You can look at your past and your now and see where you have learned and where you keep repeating things that you need to learn. And when you learn those things, you grow more.

And you can trust that. ;)
