| This week's Energetic Forecast:
We are rapidly moving towards a Mercury retrograde in Gemini on Monday, the 18th, which is also a full moon in Taurus with the Sun in Taurus. For me it is a interesting energy balance between the grounding and stability of Taurus and the restless zap of Mercury in Gemini, which represents the mind and communications. So if you feel things getting a little too "head" oriented with your thoughts, remember to slow down as Taurus would, put your feet into the earth and get grounded!
Healing the inner child. The inner child is the open, innocent, wide-eyed and curious self inside, very close to the energy of the divine and true self. Most of us start out that way carrying the awareness of where we came from. Then we start to mature. The experiences we have with our parents are HUGE in their impact on our psyche, and the unconscious influences so much of our behavior. As we mature though, we begin to realize these factors and implement our free will. Being on a spiritual path and awakening will cause these deeply buried experiences and emotions to come up for clearing. It is at that point that we can begin to change our life patterns. How do we heal the wounded inner child? By drawing our attention to it, clearing the negative emotions, and returning to that innocent and free self.
Client Story: I recently helped one of my clients to meet her inner child. It was a profound experience for her because she had not really paid much attention to her. She had a controlling mother who pitted her siblings against her, so growing up she felt alone and ostracized, not quite good enough. When she began to have compassion for that part of herself, she cried and recognized that it was not her fault, and that the innocent one inside could not have caused the treatment she received in her family. She is really healing and every time I see her now, she just radiates the love that she is learning to have for herself. :)

Intuition is quite natural for children, until they begin going to school, typically--when they are socialized into a more left-brained environment. However, this is a part of ourselves that is not lost, just buried beneath walls of defenses and hurts. As we begin to heal the inner child, our intuition can blossom again as naturally as it did when we were younger. |

When you work on healing the core wounds of childhood, you empower yourself to be more of your authentic and true self, you encourage that little one to rise and shine. You learn self love, which helps to protect you and provide the environment you need to achieve your life purpose and mission. |

| Awaken.
Your true, inner divine nature is what you always were, and this is the beauty that shines from the eyes of our children. As we awaken to our true self beyond the ego we re-connect with our joy, and our soul can sing its song here in the 3D world. |

Soul Connections & Healing the Inner Child |
|
Soul connections are designed by their very nature to trigger this healing process. It will awaken you to your patterns, templates, and programs that have been unconsciously running your life. When you discover what those are and lovingly clear them and transmute them to a higher state of consciousness, you become the best embodiment of soul you can be in this world.
This is the true purpose of them. Twin flames especially have come here to change the patterns of relationships here on the planet that are largely egoic and not driven by the love of which we are capable of giving to ourselves and others.
Try getting in touch with your soul connection's inner child in a meditation. See what they were like and the experiences they had to go through. If you are like me, it will probably move you to tears, fill you with love, and allow for much greater harmony and understanding of your connection's behavior in life and towards your relationship.
While you're in there, go ahead and meet your own inner child and develop compassion for her, too.
Isn't it beautiful what these connections do for us? We can look at it through a lens of gratitude, if we choose to.
