Sleepless in Nelson :-(

Hello Friend,

My daughter was awake most of the night with a *VERY* painful ear infection....meaning my wife and I were definitely sleepless here in Nelson.

I started with Arnica..

It didn't even touch it.

Then some Valerian.

Still awake and VERY sore.

As the parents became progressively crankier, I then broke out the
conventional medication.

Tylenol.

Hardly did a thing.

AAAAAGH

Later I then went to Ibuprofen.

It took the edge off, but she woke up 90mins later.

Now even crankier parents :-(

So I then went back to some alternate options.

Warm compress.

Finally some relief.

Then from one of my recent Inner Circle videos, I recalled Essential Oils.

I warmed up some olive oil, added 3 drops of Lavender oil, and dropped these into her ear.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

As I write this she is finally sleeping. :-)

P.S. This does give me compassion for our pets with ear infections- you must know that at time they aren't sleeping with throbbing painful ears.

And when I think about many of the dog and cat diseases, I want to reinforce the need for proper pain control. Many of these are painful- from arthritis, to skin infections, to bladder infections.
