We Are So Grateful!
Construction Update
We're excited to announce that the City of Clearwater has issued our building permit!
Our contractor Bill Botelho and his company, Custom Building Solutions, is now able to begin mobilizing. We believe this process will take about 60 days and needs to be done before we'll see shovels in the ground.

In the meantime, we'll plan to update everyone as much as possible during the mobilization. Once Bill is through that, we'll start seeing the construction begin.

We are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.  We're very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our home campus.

Our beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

Welcome Sean Schrader
Sean Schrader is our newest member at UCC and we've invited him to share a message in our eNews on a regular basis.

Sean earned his undergraduate degree in business management and his Masters Degree in business administration at the University of South Florida. (USF). Throughout his life, Sean has been fortunate to be afforded opportunities to get involved in his community of Tampa Bay, FL, seeing first-hand the tangible impacts that come from working to create positive change at the local level. Specifically, Sean has served as the District Office Manager for now-former US Congressman Charlie Crist. Sean has also served as the Campus Governor at the USF St. Petersburg campus and as a Global Goals Ambassador for the United Nations Association of the United States. All these experiences have strengthened his knowledge of this work.

Also, The Rev. Dr. Leddy Hammock performed the wedding ceremony for Sean's parents, Rosalind and Carl Schrader, in the 1990's.

We are delighted to welcome Sean!

From Sean on Gratitude:
"Gratitude truly lies in the eye of the beholder, and can be found in so many ways everyday. However, as we all live busy lives, the things we depend on, the things we expect, start to be taken for granted. Our health, families, friendships, security, and many other things that we rely on, are things we expect to be in place, not realizing one day they may not. During this season of thanks, take a moment to realize the many blessings that surround you."

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Your Gifts
Lyrics to “Ready to use the Gifts I’ve Been Given” by Jana Stanfield & Greg Tamblyn:

“Lately, I’ve been noticing how much I’ve been blessed
With people to love, peace of mind, and happiness.
It makes me want to pass along the love I’ve received
As a way of giving thanks for what’s been given to me.”

“I’ve got a strong heart and I’m ready. I’ve got a strong love and I’m ready.
I’m ready to use the gifts I’ve been given To make this world a better place to live in.”

“I thought I had to have it all before I could share,
Till I realized what’s mine to give has always been there.
Well, I may not make a difference that the whole world can see,
But if I can show more kindness, that’s what matters to me.”

“I’ve got a strong heart and I’m ready. I’ve got a strong love and I’m ready.
I’m ready to use the gifts I’ve been given to make this world a better place to live in.”

Last Sunday's Shining Words:

“And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him” (Luke 24:30).

“Now I know, I’m in the flow. I’m finally free, Oh, blessed be!”

Heart of the House: Expressing Gratitude
Greetings UCC family!

As many prepare their homes and hearts to welcome family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to share the words of Annie Rix Militz, published in Both Riches and Honor, 1945:

“Each home that is consecrated to this ministry of the Christ message and healing becomes an example of purity and harmony to those seeking heaven on the earth. Perhaps your ministry cannot yet be an open one, but it can do a silent work by its hospitality, comfort, restfulness, and love. The very walls can sing of goodness and truth. The common furniture can caress us; the homely fare can give us sweetest satisfaction.”

Your Being brings Joy to the World.

I have so much to be grateful for! In 1999 when l first came to Unity, l was struggling with faith and confidence. Little did l know, the Unity path and teachings would redirect my negativity and give me and my dear Son the grace and light to navigate this world in more positive and joyful ways. We are so grateful for our church home...Leddy, Russ, and all we have come to love and embrace...we are so grateful for our church home!

Infinite Possibilities unfolding day by day,
Freedom.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.

Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

How You Can Donate
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.

Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous offerings of friends like you.  Please give as your grateful spirit leads you.  You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan.  Right now, right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving thoughts and you, also, are blessed.

The easiest option is our online donation form which can be found at: https://www.unityofclearwater.org/giving/

If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.

We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

Donate by Text! It's Super Easy!

Text "Give" (without quotes) to 833-679-1105 and follow the prompts.
Healing Thought # 244
"Heaven and earth listen and respond to the soul that is quickened into praise and thanksgiving. Praise is gratitude in action. Try it in your home.... If we would get into the habit of thinking truly about our food before we eat it, thinking where our food comes from, and then thinking back of that to Spirit, the great Life that makes our vegetables and fruits grow, there would come into our minds great praise when we eat. This praise would give new values to our food and make it taste better" -- Myrtle Fillmore in How to Let God Help You.
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:

"I ENJOY GIVING THANKS AND I ENJOY THIS THANKSGIVING, FOR GOD HAS PREPARED A TABLE BEFORE ME, SET WITH LIMITLESS AND DELIGHTFUL BLESSINGS!"

THANK YOU, GOD!
