We Are So Grateful! |

We're excited to announce that the City of Clearwater has issued our building permit! Our contractor Bill Botelho and his company, Custom Building Solutions, is now able to begin mobilizing. We believe this process will take about 60 days and needs to be done before we'll see shovels in the ground.
In the meantime, we'll plan to update everyone as much as possible during the mobilization. Once Bill is through that we'll start seeing the construction begin.
We
are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We're very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it! |

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Say the Blessing
|
|
From the lyrics of "Blessed Be" by Faith Rivera and Sue Riley.
Life unfolds with grace and ease, endless possibilities. They’re everywhere, they’ve always been, when I choose to let them in.
I’ve outgrown those smaller dreams, the way they used to limit me. I make the space, invite love in. Magic fills my life again.
There’s something bigger calling me, to follow where my passion leads. I trust that flow, don’t need to know. I dance into the Great Unknown!
Gonna set it free, let things be, let the thrill of life carry me, ‘Cause now I know, I’m in the flow. I’m finally free, Oh, blessed be! |

Last Sunday's Shining Words:
“Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:1-5).
Perfect answers take form as I keep a good and grateful attitude. |

Heart of the House: Expressing Gratitude
|
|
Greetings UCC family!
As many prepare their homes and hearts to welcome family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to share the words of Annie Rix Militz, published in Both Riches and Honor, 1945:
“Each home that is consecrated to this ministry of the Christ message and healing becomes an example of purity and harmony to those seeking heaven on the earth. Perhaps your ministry cannot yet be an open one, but it can do a silent work by its hospitality, comfort, restfulness, and love. The very walls can sing of goodness and truth. The common furniture can caress us; the homely fare can give us sweetest satisfaction.”
I would love to share your personal messages of Thanksgiving and gratitude in the Thanksgiving week eNews. Send your wishes for our community to: nancy@unityofclearwater.org. Your Being brings Joy to the World.
Nancy Peterson, Heart of the House
With open and loving hearts, we share in these expressions of Gratitude… |

I am grateful to be in the company of people who have the willingness to strive to see more, hear more and thus understand more. I
am grateful for the commitments they make every day to examine thoughts
and actions and how those things can and do impact our world. The very willingness to even try to do this results in my being surrounded with friends who serve as wonderful teachers always. Even this, a personal statement of Gratitude, takes sharing of their hearts. A trusting sharing heart is an inspiring thing to me. For this, and so much more that has come to me from our UCC family I am grateful indeed. ~ Lydia Muar, Prayer Chaplain |

In the summer of 2022, after UCC had sold five of our seven acres, in
hopes of seeing our new Church home under construction, I was diagnosed
with stage four cancer, with a malignant tumor at the base of my spine.
In this season of 2023, the initial developer abandoned our contract
and we were told that the cancer had metastasized to the lung area. I
learned I'd have to repeat the treatments of another week of
chemotherapy and Keytruda and another 25 radiation treatments. Last
year at this time, we still had not attained our initial building permit
for the new Church. We followed the Unity teaching and gave thanks in
advance for the blessings we envisioned. Now, at Thanksgiving time in
2025, after scans every three months, no further cancer has appeared, we
have a great new contractor, and the City just issued our permit to
begin construction of our new Church home! Our hearts overflow with
gratitude for the prayer support and strong spiritual consciousness of
our Unity Family!

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Wednesday Evening Spiritual Treatment
|
|
Wednesdays
7:00-7:30 PM
PRAYER ..."is communion with God.... This communion is an attitude of mind and heart that lifts the individual into a wonderful sense of oneness with God, who is Spirit, the Source of every good and perfect thing..." (Myrtle Fillmore's Healing Letters).
We invite you to join us for a half hour of contemplative guided prayer time. The service is live streamed to our Facebook page so no need to log in to Zoom. You will not be on camera and can use this quiet time to observe or just listen to this peaceful meditation. Prayer brings beautiful changes. |

Transgender Day of Remembrance this Wednesday |
|
What is Transgender Day of Remembrance? Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) was started in 1999 as a vigil to commemorate all the transgender people whose lives on this plane were lost to violence due to transphobia.
At UCC, we do not seek to erase transgender people, but, rather, welcome all people and stand with everyone in support of their right to exist in peace and justice.
We will honor this prayer vigil in our tranquil prayer service at 7:00 PM on FB on Wednesday, November 20.
As we have done at UCC for many years at this season, we light a candle with love in our hearts. |

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed
by law. Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous
offerings of friends like you. Please give as your grateful spirit
leads you. You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a
legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan. Right now,
right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving
thoughts and you, also, are blessed.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

"Be thankful for every blessing that you gain and as deeply grateful for every demonstration as for an unexpected treasure dropped into your lap. This will keep your heart fresh; for true thanksgiving may be likened to rain falling upon ready soil, refreshing it and increasing its productiveness. When Jesus had only a small supply, He gave thanks for the little He had. This increased that little into such an abundance that a multitude was satisfied with food and much was left over. Blessing has not lost its power since the time Jesus used it. Try it and you will prove its efficacy. The same power of multiplication is in it today. Praise and thanksgiving impart the quickening spiritual power that produces growth and increase in all things" (Charles Fillmore, Prosperity). |

OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
I AM THANKFUL FOR EVERY BLESSING IN MY LIFE! I NOW SPEAK THE WORD OF BLESSING OVER THE WORK OF MY HANDS AND THE FOOD AT MY TABLE."
