Construction activity is accelerating as we move from site preparation into foundation work.
This week, the masonry contractor began excavating and compacting the footing trenches for the front portion of the building. Once the trenches pass inspection, reinforcing steel (rebar) will be installed in preparation for the first concrete pours. Seeing the footings take shape is an important milestone, as these foundations will ultimately support the structure of our new church home.
Several additional components are also scheduled to arrive on site this week, including the stormwater control structures that will manage rainwater runoff from the building and surrounding property. These underground systems are an important part of the site's long-term infrastructure and environmental compliance.
At the same time, the plumbing contractor will begin mobilizing for the next phase of work. Much of the building's plumbing infrastructure must be installed beneath and through the slab before concrete can be poured, making this a critical step in the construction process.
While much of the work currently underway is happening below ground, every trench, pipe, and footing brings us one step closer to seeing the walls of our new church home begin to rise.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!! |

After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!
For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.
Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.

Faith is making the trip from Hawaii to Florida for a performance in Orlando and graciously offered to spend Sunday morning with us. What a gift!

WINGS is our daytime Truth Book Study Group and is led by our UCC Minister of Education, The Reverend Cynthia Mackey.
The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!

Our Wednesday evening half-hours of meditation are presented as a "Spring to Autumn Series" of Unity Prayer Services drawn from The Healing Letters of Myrtle Fillmore (1936) - Cofounder of the Unity Movement - as compiled and shared by our Senior Minister, Leddy Hammock, from extracts of letters written by Myrtle in answer to letters from those who wrote to her for spiritual guidance over decades of her leadership in Silent Unity.
Let Myrtle "speak to you" from her heart as no one else could do. |

insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
