JUNETEENTH and PRIDE
Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned they had been freed. It is high time,now, that we celebrate the emancipation to which every soul is heir.
We are together in this long journey of learning to live up to our high ideals, affirming in mind, heart, words and hands, that all people – regardless of age, gender identity, nationality, or ethnicity, peacefully choosing to express themselves– have inherent dignity and value. We welcome all people, everywhere, as God’s beloved children.

We're still expecting to see the fill dirt and grading being done soon, but there has been some activity on the site the past week or two. Perimeter plants have been put in along with some beautiful palm trees. Irrigation has been installed, so that they will get water. The power company has also placed the temporary power meter. You can just make it out in the picture above showing the terrific new fence across the front of the property. The power meter is next to the palm by the white privacy fence. We're making progress! We
are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

I speak words of strength and power to all the life centers in my body.
I do not become discouraged, but keep right on, both silently and aloud, declaring words of Truth to every organ and system of my body. I tell them that they are free, unlimited Spirit.
I ask the Father to forgive me for past error thought. I promise Him that I will never again retard the free flow of that life through my mind and my body by any false word or thought.
I bless my body and encourage it with true thoughts and words. I do not let any worried or anxious thoughts into my mind.
I let a little prayer go up every hour that Jesus Christ is with me, helping me to think and speak only kind, loving, true words. I am sure that He is with me, because I am peaceful and happy. |

WINGS will be studying the classic Unity text, What Are You?, by Imelda Octavia Shanklin.

insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
