While we have had another delay thrown at us by way of the city now requiring civil plans that we had been assured for the past two years would not be required, contractor Bill Botelho has continued to work in the background securing his subcontractors and building materials.
Bill has secured the following trades: Grading Concrete & Masonry Block Plumbing Roof Electric Framing & Drywall Insulation Fire Sprinklers
We've created a new "construction updates" page on the UCC website that includes the terrific video of the site blessing and groundbreaking ceremony that Deb Frisch created, set to the awesome music of Sue Riley. The URL is: UnityOfClearwater.org/construction-updates
We
are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it! |

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - If I Were Brave |
|
Highlights:
Lyrics from “If I Were Brave” by Jana Stanfield:
I am brave!
What would I do if I knew that I could not fail? If I believed, would the wind always fill up my sail?
If I were brave I’d walk the razor’s edge where fools and dreamer’s dare to tread, And never lose faith, even when losing my way. What step would I take today, if I were brave?
What would I do today if I were brave? What if we’re all meant to do what we secretly dream? … Like the mighty oak sleeps in the heart of a seed, are there miracles in you and me?
If I refuse to listen to the voice of fear, would the voice of courage whisper in my ear?
What would I do today if I were brave? I am brave!
*Leddy and Pat Warren sharing a smile on Easter |

Last Sunday's Shining Words:
“How good and how pleasant it is, when people dwell in unity!” (Ps. 133:1).
This is where joy lives. This is where love is. This is a place where I am strong. This is where eyes meet, where kindred hearts beat. I am right where I belong! |

Sue Riley
Almost 40 years ago I answered an ad in the paper for an accompanist at Unity Church of Clearwater. I had been brought up Catholic and thought Unity might be a cult, but they were offering a weekly check, so I applied. Leddy was pregnant with Levi at the time. I was hooked from the very first service, vowing to attend services even if I failed the audition. However, I did get the job and the rest, as they say, is history.

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed
by law. Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous
offerings of friends like you. Please give as your grateful spirit
leads you. You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a
legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan. Right now,
right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving
thoughts and you, also, are blessed.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

"The teachings of the man Jesus of Nazareth possessed an element that the people vitally needed and they soon sprang up in regions far beyond the little land where they were promulgated; they spread to many lands and have been spreading ever since.
It was the Word of God that Jesus was teaching .... Our religion is constantly unfolding new possibilities, new powers, and new beauties; we are on the way to a great outpouring of spiritual development. We have not realized what a wonderful religion we have. It is filled with possibilities, and these possibilities are made known to us in mind and spirit.
But we need more courage to develop these possibilities. We need more initiative. We need more awareness of this divine power in us and when we awaken to the spiritual [nature] which every one of us has within us, we shall see that through spiritual unfoldment all good things are possible of accomplishment, as Jesus promised.
All things are possible to us, only we must believe. Believe what? We must believe in ourselves, in this innate spiritual [nature] in us and we must encourage [it]. Encourage him with what? With sound words, with affirmations of almightiness .... Let us all join in prayer to this end, that we may take the formulas that Jesus gave as working principles, that they may be sent out in the world through the power of the word" (Charles Fillmore, "The World Calls to Courage" in Keep a True Lent). |

OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
"WE ARE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE; FOR GOD CAUSES HIS PEOPLE TO INHERIT THE LAND."
