We give thanks together for the mission of Christian unity shared so beautifully with the world by Pope Francis in his earthly life. He emphasized the essential teachings of the Christ — humility, service, kindness, and love. He reminded everyone that above all other creeds is the resolve to join together in “a prayer of praise that unites us to God” and that we express our unity with God as a dynamic process of walking together, listening to one another, and working together lovingly in peace to demonstrate our “unity with God through unity among humankind.”

| The newly required civil drawings as well as some additional life safety modifications to the architectural drawings are now in review. If all items are accepted by the City of Clearwater, we're back on track to start building. Contractor Bill Botelho is ready to get things moving as soon as the City gives the green light.

Almost 40 years ago I answered an ad in the paper for an accompanist at Unity Church of Clearwater. I had been brought up Catholic and thought Unity might be a cult, but they were offering a weekly check, so I applied. Leddy was pregnant with Levi at the time. I was hooked from the very first service, vowing to attend services even if I failed the audition. However, I did get the job and the rest, as they say, is history.

She rides a Harley Sportster and earned a Commercial Driver’s License at Road Master Trucking School. She once worked for KLLM Transport, hauling 53-foot refrigerated trailers across the country. And ---decorated with miniature furniture of her own design---she once collected a whole room of Barbie dolls, all dressed in fashions she had sewn, herself!

WINGS is our daytime Truth Book Study Group and is led by our UCC Minister of Education, The Reverend Cynthia Mackey.
The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!
Make new friends, share ideas and explore Unity teachings in a supportive, positive environment!
WINGS will be studying the classic Unity text, What Are You?, by Imelda Octavia Shanklin.
Attending the WINGS group can earn credit toward becoming a UCC Prayer Chaplain. Please check with Cynthia for more info.

You will not be on camera and can use this quiet time to observe or just listen to this peaceful meditation. Prayer brings beautiful changes. |

longtime friends, retired Reform Rabbi, Arthur Baseman and our Sr.
Minister, Leddy Hammock, sharing
insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
Bring your favorite Bible version. Be ready to expand your understanding of scripture!
