We Are So Grateful! |
|

|
No updates during the holidays. Things may seem a little quiet leading up to our February 19th steel delivery. If we get any other news before then we'll share it here.
We remain very grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus. Watch this space as we give thanks together that God is clearing the way for us to go forward.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Greet the Dawn |
|
Highlights:
Inspired by “Salutation to the Dawn” by Kalidasa (Sanskrit, ca 4th or 5th century, CE).
“Look to this day! For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence: the bliss of growth, the glory of action, the splendor of beauty. For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow only a vision, but today well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore, to this day! Such is the salutation of the dawn.” |

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

Wednesday Evening Spiritual Treatment |
|
Wednesdays
7:00-7:30 PM
Our
Wed evening Prayer Services in the New Year from Jan. 7 until Ash
Wednesday will be based on the classic Unity text, Beginning Again: A
Guide To Taking A New Hold On Life, a self-help book by Frank B. Whitney
that aims to guide readers through the process of starting over and
rebuilding their lives. The book offers practical advice and exercises
to help readers identify their goals and create a plan to achieve them.
It also covers topics such as overcoming fear, building self-confidence,
and dealing with setbacks. With a focus on personal growth and
empowerment, Beginning Again is a helpful resource for anyone looking to
make positive changes.
Frank B. Whitney was the first Editor of Unity's Daily Word magazine, which was first published in July of 1924 and circulated continuously to the present day, treasured by people of many faiths, the world over. Beginning with the first issue on July 1, 1924, Whitney wrote nearly all the messages and many of the poems in the issues for the first 14 years of its existence, until his passing in 1938. Whitney’s obituary in the Kansas City Star recalled, “The editor carried into his writings and work for the Unity School of Christianity a natural buoyancy and optimism.” |
