Construction activity continued this week as the project team prepared for the next major phase of work.
The masonry contractor was on site to perform final layout and takeoff measurements in preparation for footing excavation. As part of that process, it was determined that bringing in and compacting approximately 30 additional truckloads of fill dirt would provide the best foundation for the work ahead. Once that recommendation was made, our team immediately began coordinating the additional material so the site can be brought to the mason's preferred grade and footing excavation can begin.
Meanwhile, the underground utility contractor completed another important milestone by extending both the potable water service and fire protection line to the building footprint. These are key infrastructure components that will serve the facility for years to come.
Looking ahead, a deep-well contractor is scheduled to replace the pump on the existing well later this week. The upgraded well will provide clean water for construction activities now and will ultimately support irrigation for the completed campus landscape.
While some of the progress taking place right now happens below ground and out of sight, each step is helping create the solid foundation and infrastructure that will support our new church home for generations to come.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!! |

After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!
For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.
Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.

Our Wednesday evening half-hours of meditation are presented as a "Spring to Autumn Series" of Unity Prayer Services drawn from The Healing Letters of Myrtle Fillmore (1936) - Cofounder of the Unitiy Movement - as compiled and shared by our Senior Minister, Leddy Hammock, from extracts of letters written by Myrtle in answer to letters from those who wrote to her for spiritual guidance over decades of her leadership in Silent Unity.

excellent adventure in allegorical Bible study, team-taught by
longtime friends, retired Reform Rabbi, Arthur Baseman and our Sr.
Minister, Leddy Hammock, sharing
insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
