This past week was another relatively quiet one on the construction site as frequent rain continued to limit the amount of dirt work that could be completed. A small amount of fill dirt was brought in, but the saturated ground conditions prevented the crew from making significant progress inside the building footprint.
Our contractor, Don Donahue, is actively working on dewatering solutions that can help remove excess water from the site. Ultimately, however, we need a stretch of drier weather to allow the ground to dry sufficiently for the fill operation to move forward efficiently.
While we would certainly prefer to be reporting more visible progress this week, weather delays are an unavoidable part of construction—especially during a Florida summer. The good news is that we're ready to move as soon as conditions improve, and we're affirming some sunshine and drier days ahead!
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!! |

After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!
For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.
Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.

Our Wednesday evening half-hours of meditation are presented as a "Spring to Autumn Series" of Unity Prayer Services drawn from The Healing Letters of Myrtle Fillmore (1936) - Cofounder of the Unity Movement - as compiled and shared by our Senior Minister, Leddy Hammock, from extracts of letters written by Myrtle in answer to letters from those who wrote to her for spiritual guidance over decades of her leadership in Silent Unity.

excellent adventure in allegorical Bible study, team-taught by
longtime friends, retired Reform Rabbi, Arthur Baseman and our Sr.
Minister, Leddy Hammock, sharing
insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
