We Are So Grateful! |

We're excited to announce that the City of Clearwater has issued our building permit! Our contractor Bill Botelho and his company, Custom Building Solutions, is now able to begin mobilizing. We believe this process will take about 60 days and needs to be done before we'll see shovels in the ground.
In the meantime, we'll plan to update everyone as much as possible during the mobilization. Once Bill is through that, we'll start seeing the construction begin.
We
are deeply grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We're very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it! |

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - A Quiet Christmas
|
|
Inspired by “A Quiet Christmas” by Michael Gott:
My heart longs for a quiet Christmas, far from the hurry and the noise, for peace on earth meets peace of mind.
I can slow my mind. Just breathe, don’t run away, just breathe, and leave the cares behind. I know I don’t have to hide. I can find a quiet place inside.
My heart longs for a quiet Christmas, far from the hurry and the noise, where peace on earth meets peace of mind. Suddenly, there’s the joy, there’s the peace. I am ready for a quiet Christmas. |
|
Last Sunday's Shining Words:
“Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts” (I. Cor. 12:29-31).
“I’m ready to use the gifts I’ve been given to make this world a better place to live in.” |

Greetings UCC family!
As we enter this time of reflection and Advent for all who celebrate, we are reminded of who we are and the consciousness of giving of ourselves.
“In the realm of the real you love, and your love pays you with love; your trust reaps you a hundredfold increase of trust; your feeling of security becomes the fact of security. You possess what you give. What you bestow on another is his; it still is yours, because you have in you the consciousness of the thing. To be conscious of a thing is to possess it. Consciousness is the germ of things, and you possess whatever you impart; your giving opens in you the floodgates to the exhaustless resource. If you will remember that truth you never will feel depleted. What you share you increase.” – Imelda Octavia Shanklin, What Are You?

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

About Unity's Winged Globe

|
We're checking mail every day, so checks sent through the mail are fine, as are checks sent from your bank's online bill pay.
Your gifts to Unity Church of Clearwater are tax deductible as allowed
by law. Our life-affirming work is supported by the loving and generous
offerings of friends like you. Please give as your grateful spirit
leads you. You can also support Unity Church of Clearwater by leaving a
legacy of prayer and hope in your will or estate plan. Right now,
right where you are, you are blessing this ministry through your loving
thoughts and you, also, are blessed.
If you feel led you might consider setting up an automatic recurring donation. This can be done through your bank's bill pay or on the Church's donation form.
We've also been asked about the processing fees the church has to pay when the online form is used. The fees are a small percentage (3-4%) of the total donation, however there is an option to cover fees that you may select if you feel so inclined. Every little bit helps and we're grateful if you decide to turn that option on.

"Home for Christmas. In our study of Truth, we come to know and to become comfortable with the idea that there’s a depth within this, a place of transcendence. Jesus called it the inner chamber. And at any time we can pause and be still on the other end. And then Jesus said, 'Pray to the Father who is in secret.' It’s coming home to our inner center. And the Father who’s living secretly will reward you openly.... There’s a depth within all things, within all persons, all experiences. Knowing this today is to get a sense of the real Christmas of the heart. It’s having a quiet time of meditation on the Christ of our own being. Re-experiencing your birth of the son of God self within. You’ve heard it a thousand times, but it’s never old" (The Rev. Eric Butterworth, Unity of NYC, 1975). |
|
OUR WEEKLY AFFIRMATION:
"WHATEVER ELSE WE MAY WANT TO GET FOR CHRISTMAS, LET’S
BE SURE TO GET STILL. AS WE SIT QUIET IN
PRAYER, WE ALL COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS."
THANK YOU, GOD! |
