In this video, Todd gives an overview of his Bible translation work and updates you on his current work on the Pauline epistles. He also shares how Bible translation serves church planting and talks about his and Pam’s plans to lead a summer team to Croatia next month. For the past eight weeks, Pam’s mom (Barbie Hughes, pictured above on Mother’s Day) has been experiencing a decline in her health with congestive heart failure and decreasing kidney function. Multiple times per day, Pam and her sister, who also lives nearby, stop in to check on her and help her with various needs. She was hospitalized for several days two weeks ago.

We are monitoring her day-to-day water retention and blood pressure and are thankful for the conveniently located hospital and ER in case we need them again soon. We are very thankful for a wonderful family nurse practitioner who has been very helpful. Thank you for praying for her and for us as we continue to help her in these sunset months. Some extended family are coming for visits soon and we are all hoping Pam’s mom can make it to be able to enjoy our family reunion in early September.

Daniel (16) got his driver’s license and is doing a great job driving. He ran the sound for the school’s play, “Newsies Jr.”, and Ariela (12) acted in three parts (see pictures below)
