| We praise God that Stephen and Elizabeth have 100% of their monthly missionary support and are moving to Hungary today! They will arrive tomorrow (Jan. 31) and will be able to stay with us a couple weeks. Then they will head to Croatia for a couple months of training with the team there in Roma ministry, before moving to their final destination in Pécs, Hungary, which is 2 1/2 hours by car south of where we live in Budapest.Our home church in KC gave them a wonderful send off and we are very grateful for their love and support for two of our favorite missionaries! We look forward to having Stephen and Elizabeth nearby.Here are a few prayer requests:
1. Pray for all to go smoothly with their flight connections, that their luggage will arrive fine, for sleep on the plane and good adjustment to the time zone change (seven hours ahead).2. Pray for grace and strength in all the emotions and adjustments in saying goodbye to family and friends in the US for three years, and becoming immersed in a new language, culture and missionary team.
3. Pray for the next couple weeks while they are with us. During this time, we will also be hosting their friends visiting from China, and our friends visiting from the States, and Todd will be taking our friends to Croatia for a few days of Bible translation work with two of our Roma translators. Please pray for traveling mercies, good health and fruitful meetings in working on these translations of Mark in two Roma dialects.
