Boxes, boxes everywhere! Packing up the house in Budapest.
Thank you for praying for the process of our move from Hungary to Croatia. Here are some answers to prayer and some prayer requests:
1. I (Todd) head out the door in a few minutes to go for a quick trip to Croatia to meet with our translators for a day of spell checking our Bible drafts in the Bayash language. Please pray for a safe trip, and for all the details as we work on editing the Bible draft with Natasha, Renata and Nedeljko.
2. We were shocked at how expensive it is to get the inside of the house painted which is a condition before we leave it. We've gotten four estimates and are praising God that we found one that will work very well for our schedule.
3. Praise God that we were able to find a truck driver from Slavonski Brod, Croatia, to move our things and that the cost is less than we thought it would be.
4. Please pray that all goes well with packing the house, making needed repairs, getting it cleaned and all the utilities transferred back to the owner. Please pray for stamina for the hours of packing and for wisdom in the myriad decisions we need to make in the details.
5. Praise God for a day of good translating meetings in Slavonski Brod when I (Todd) went there to meet with Goran and Kada who drove up from Serbia, and Sasa who lives an hour away in Croatia. I'm thankful for the good spell checking work we could do.
6. One of the translators decided to no longer work with us. This is disappointing and we pray the Lord will keep the doors of communication open and that in the future we can minister together, if not in the translation work, at least in distributing the translation to others.
7. Praise God for giving guidance to Stephen and Elizabeth. Next month they will move to Albania to begin ministry with the Pioneers team there to a very poor and needy Roma group. We're so thankful for their stamina to get back to the mission field.
