Dear praying friends,
Thank you for praising God with us and standing with us in prayer for these Bible translation projects. Pray that the Lord will use them as building blocks in building His church among the Roma here in central and eastern Europe.
1. We praise God that has raised up 8 Roma (Gypsies) who are now
translating the Bible into 4 Romani dialects.
2. Praise God that we have drafts now of 50 Bible stories and the Gospels being translated into these 4 dialects at this
time.
3. A foundation in the States is considering funding the
next three years of these translation projects. Please pray that, if the Lord
wills, they will fully fund them.
4. Pray for the completion of the needed Bible translation training tools so
these Roma translators can use them to make the best translations possible.
5. Pray for each of the translators to be enabled by the Lord to make
accurate, clear, natural and acceptable Bible translations.
6. Pray that the Lord will use these Scriptures to build his Church among the
Roma.
7. We head out the door in a couple hours to go to the biennial Pioneers conference for workers in Europe. We're thankful for all those investing in this conference for worship, teaching, refreshment and encouragement. Pray the Lord will speak "through us and to us" to be a blessing.
