The Prices Write Part 1: Prayer Letter for April/May 2015 Todd & Pam Price | Budapest, Hungary | Roma Bible translation
|
| We had a wonderful visit with our son-in-law, Stephen Sell, who was here with us for two weeks to learn more about ministry to Roma (Gypsies) and how he and our daughter, Elizabeth, can best serve in ministry in this part of the world after they finish Bible college. The picture above is appropriate as Stephen spent lots of time riding in the car, as he and our team leader, Bob Hitching, traveled 1,800 miles, in four countries, visiting several villages and towns. |

One Roma pastor serves 17 different home groups and his church, tirelessly working to meet humanitarian aid needs, share the Gospel and teach believers. The picture below shows Bob explaining about the materials Roma Bible Union has prepared for Roma in Serbian and offering to help this pastor to use these Bible study materials in their home Bible study groups.

| Stephen met many Roma, drank lots of coffee, attended a Roma church service in a home, tried all kinds of new foods (Hungarian langos in the picture at the very bottom of this e-mail), explored the city where he and Elizabeth hope to live when they move to Hungary, had special story and play time with Ariela (3) and celebrated Daniel’s 7th birthday (pictured below at home school co-op with a volcano cake!), got a special type of mandolin for playing Gypsy folk music, attended a Hungarian folk music fair, met other missionaries working with Roma, learned the Gypsy anthem on guitar, joined us in scouting out a new area to find out which Roma dialects were spoken in two Serbian Roma towns, and learned more about what it would be like to be a missionary by using ethnomusicology to reach Roma. |
| | We are excited about what the Lord is doing in bringing this second generation of missionaries to serve among the Roma of Eastern Europe!
Thank you for your prayers and financial support on this journey!
