We invite you our friends all over the world to join us on our website for a free inspirational talk on Good Friday, April 10th from Third Church of Christ, Scientist, in New York City. Our guest speaker, Leide Lessa, will deliver her Easter-themed address, “Spiritual Resources and Today’s Meaning of Resurrection.”
Just imagine for a moment that you were there on the morning when Jesus arose from the dead! Imagine that you stood there in awe as you awakened to a deeper understanding of the spiritual resources of life.
This deeper understanding is what Leide Lessa, a Christian Science teacher and member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, will be talking about. She’ll explore how to find this same sense of healing and renewal available to you now over 2000 years later.
Our Good Friday event will be given in both Spanish and English:

| Leide worked for 14 years at the Christian Science Publishing Society, the last six as Managing Editor of
The Herald of Christian Science, published regularly in 14 languages. During the ten years that Leide owned her language institute, she participated in national and international teachers’ conferences. She also helped organize local Christian Science youth summits. After witnessing healings from students and colleagues who asked her to pray for them, she felt that there is no higher profession than dedicating her life to helping others through metaphysical scientific prayer. So she sold her school and became a Christian Science practitioner in 1998 and a Christian Science teacher in 2009. |
